For today’s card share, I’m playing along with this week’s Freshly Made Sketches layout challenge.
For my take on the sketch, I started with a base of Night of Navy. I then layered a pattern from the Affectionately Yours DSP over some Sahara Sand. I then placed some Night of Navy ribbon across the top-ish (yes, that’s a technical term) of the card to act as the “divide.” Next I cut a 1/2″ Sahara Sand strip of cardstock and 1/4″ Night of Navy strip of cardstock and layered them over some Mint Macaron cardstock to be my rectangular focus (yes, another technical term).
Next I cut out three stems/leaves from the Flourish Thinlits again going with the color scheme of Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, and Mint Macaron and layered them to the right of the card. Finally, I stamped the sentiment “Celebrate” from the Thoughtful Banners in Night of Navy over Sahara Sand and cut it out with the coordinating Duet Banner Punch included in the bundle.
