For today’s card, I went simple and sweet.
My color inspiration came from the Sunday Stamps Challenge this week and my layout inspiration from the Global Design Project challenge.
I started with a base color of Blushing Bride and layered it with a beautiful pattern from the English Garden DSP. I then layered that with Sahara Sand and Whisper White. On the Whisper White I stamped two balloons (stamping off first) in Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand.
Both my balloons the sentiment, “Happy Birthday,” come from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set. I had a little bow from Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine on the punched balloon. I punched the sentiment in a scalloped oval and used dimensionals to give it a bit of lift, as well as on the one balloon.
