Freshly Made Sketches 229

Today’s layout inspiration comes from the Freshly Made Sketches #229.

For the card, it’s all about the beautiful What I Love Stamp Set from Sale-a-bration. I started with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I then took the What I Love Stamp Set and stamped in 2-3/4″ squares different colored flowers. The stamp set is two-step and although mine aren’t perfectly lined up, I actually like it that way.

For the top flower, I used Calypso Coral as my light color (stamping off first for the lightest variation) and then Cajun Craze as the darkest color.

Pool Party was used as the lightest color for my blue flower (again stamping off first for the lightest part) and then I used the retired Coastal Cabana for the darkest shade.

My purple flower was made using Rich Razzleberry for the lighter shade and Blackberry Bliss for the darker shade. I then added a vertical strip of Venetian Trim to give it some texture.

The sentiment, “Know what I love?” is from the same What I Love Stamp Set and is stamped in Pool Party. The “You!” was stamped on the inside of the card.
