Today I bring you a card on a personal note.
You may think – By The Shore DSP for a kid’s 10th birthday card? And I would answer – It’s perfect. My oldest daughter is turning 10 and in the summer she loves to swim – Pools, lakes, ocean, you name it and because of it – I always call her my fish. So for her card this year, I thought this DSP paper was perfect!
To start off, I used the Very Vanilla cardstock and layered it one of the patterns from the By The Shore DSP. I took two other patterns, mounted them (one over Mint Macaron and the other over Calypso Coral) and wound some Thick Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine three times around the one.
I then layered them over the card to match the challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper.
I then cut out the numbers using the Large Numbers Framelits in Very Vanilla and stamped the “Look Who’s Turning” from the Number of Years Stamp Set in Calypso Coral and fussy cut it out.
To finish it off, I fussy cut a few fish from the DSP and scattered them around the card.
Enjoy!
