Global Design Project CASE

This weeks’ challenge over at Global Design Project is to  CASE a designer.  I normally shy away from these challenges, but I was inspired by the CASEd card.  So here we go…

GDP044 Case Steffi

What inspired me about the original card was the artistic touch behind the butterfly and the simple color scheme.

So for my card I started with a base of Crumb Cake layered with some Whisper White.  I then took the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and stamped the different elements in Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, and Soft Suede.

I then cut out the biggest butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlit dies in Real Red and adhered it to the card for a pop of color.

For my sentiment, I stamped a Soft Suede Hello from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set to the corner of the card and finished it off with a few Gold Metallic Sequins.

Enjoy!

  2. Great card Jaimie! I love that you kept the layout similar but changed up the colours and made the red really pop! Thanks so much for sharing your talents and joining in with this week’s Global Design Project!
