Scribbles & Jar of Love

I have to say the Jars of Love Stamp Set/Everyday Jars Thinlits Bundle is one of my all time favorite items from the current catalog (and to think it was the last item I bought/almost didn’t).

Today I’m using it for this week’s challenge over at The Paper Players.

I started off with Smoky Slate as my background color.  For my vertical detail, I just layered some Flirty Flamingo over Whisper White.  I went back and forth whether to add more detail to the card or leave more simple, and figured sometimes more isn’t better and left it clean and crisp.

Before adhering the Flirty Flamingo, I tucked behind it some Ruched Flirty Flamingo Ribbon and the sentiment which also comes from the Jar of Love Bundle.  It was stamped in Smoky Slate and snipped at the end to be a banner.

After adhering the panel and ribbon, I created the wreath using one of the circular thinlits from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits cut out of Whisper White.  I then stamped the leaves in Old Olive, the flower in Flirty Flamingo (stamping off for lighter shade), and Smoky Slate for the ribbon, cutting each with the coordinating thinlit from the bundle.

Enjoy!
