Purple Cluster of Flowers

I used the Falling Flowers Bundle from the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog for today’s card share.

I played with where to put the flowers a lot and finally settled on this arrangement.

The colors for the card are Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder, and Smoky Slate, inspired by this week’s challenge over at Stamp, Ink, Paper.

I used Perfect Plum on the bottom and then jut layered from there, Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, and then made a 2′ banner using a Smoky Slate pattern from the A Little Foxy.

Next I used the Falling Flowers Bundle to stamp and cut out (with the coordinating thinlits) different sized flowers and leaves.

Before adhering the flowers, I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Perfect Plum and adhered it in the center of the card, cutting the end in a banner.  Lastly, I adhered the flowers and then added a few clusters of rhinestones.

Enjoy!

  1. Such a beautiful card Jaime! I love the DSP banner behind your flowers. Your flowers and rhinestones were perfectly placed for such great balance. Thanks so much for joining us at Stamp, Ink, Paper this week for our color challenge!
