Happy Monday! I have to say that after being on vacation (and away from stamping) for a week, I was eager to get back at it. I forget how much of a stress-reliever it is for me until I don’t have it around me.
For today’s card share I wanted to highlight some beautiful Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! paper is great quality with beautiful designs. The Affectionately Yours comes with 12 sheets in total – 2 designs of 5 double-sided sheets and then 2 AMAZING designs with foil.
With the DSP, all the colors coordinate perfectly together. There’s no guessing what’s what color and does it match – The colors are labeled and they all do! AND Stampin’ Up! also sells packages of coordinating cardstock which makes it even easier (and cheaper).
Okay, so now on to my card…
I used Night of Navy as my base color and layered it with Mint Macaron. Next I took three patterns from the Affectionately Yours DSP and cut out four squares. I used the Project Life Corner Punch to trim two corners of each square and then arranged them on the card.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set in Night of Navy and then added a few Enamel Dots at the bottom and a Baker’s Twine ribbon at the top.
