My family just got back from vacation in North Carolina and had a lovely time. I’m starting to feel the rush of the last few weeks of summer before back to school and I kinda feel like I’m clinging on to summer. Here in Upstate New York, the days are feeling cooler and fall is in the air. So, even though you’d think I’d make a tree of fall colors, I bring you a summery, bright tree today.
I used Flirty Flamingo as the base to my card and layered it with Daffodil Delight and then Whisper White.
I then used the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set to create the tree in Old Olive and the leaves in Flirty Flamingo. The ground, as well as the bicycle are also in Old Olive.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment which is from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo and layered it over some Daffodil Delight cardstock, cutting them out with the Layering Circles Framelits. I also added a bit of Silver Thread behind them.
