Today’s Happy Stampers Blog Hop is a color challenge.
For my card today I’m celebrating! I started off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I then cut out some Soft Sky cardstock and dry embossed it using the Softly Falling TIEF. I then cut the cardstock starting thick and progressively getting thinner.
I stamped the sentiment from the Here’s to Cheer Stamp Set in Sweet Sugarplum and cut it out and a scalloped circle underneath it using the Layering Circles Framelits. Underneath it I layered a banner of Whisper White, some Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon, and a strip of Soft Sky cardstock.
Lastly, I stamped the bottle/glass stamp in Versamark on Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and heat embossed it using White Embossing Powder. To finish it off I added some White Sequins around the card.
Enjoy!
Now swing on over to Amy‘s blog to see what she’s created. Happy hopping!

That’s awesome Jaimie! Your layering under the sentiment is perfect and I love the tapering card stock panels on the background. Fantastic!
Cool idea with all of the panels! I love your layering behind the sentiment, too, it makes it really pop!
Clever clever—the graduating of the clipped textured cardstock. How pretty.
Nicely done, Jaimie! Love how you made your card front with the embossed strips. 🙂
