My card today was inspired by the embossing challenge over at Stamp, Ink, Paper this week.
My card starts off with Real Red and is layered with a diagonal pattern from the Candy Cane Lane DSP. I then layered another smaller “heart” pattern matted on Real Red over that.
Next I cut a banner in Whisper White of 1-1/2″ and heat embossed in gold to the right the sentiment Merry Christmas from the Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set.
To create my stocking I cut out a Real Red stocking from the Christmas Stockings Thinlits (10% off in bundle). I then stamped in Versamark and sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder the top, heel, and toe of the stocking and cut them out using the same thinlits.
I cut out the snowflake in Gold Foil (from a detail in another stocking) and adhered some wound up Gold Thread behind it to decorate the stocking.
