NEW So Very Much Sale-a-bration Card

My card today definitely makes me laugh when I look at it.  The reason – it’s not at all where I was going when I started creating it.  This card is literally the product of a few things gone wrong.

My card uses Sahara Sand as its base.  I stamped the Thank You from the Sale-a-bration So Very Much Stamp Set (available free with $50 purchase starting January 4th) in Soft Suede on a gorgeous pattern from the NEW Falling in Love DSP.

This is where my first problem came about – I stamped the Thank You completely crooked.  I couldn’t bring myself to toss the paper, so I decided to offset the DSP and Blushing Bride cardstock underneath it.

I put a piece of a Delicate Doily under the cardstock before adhering them to the base.  I also took another pattern from the Falling in Love DSP and cut it in a strip to put underneath the sentiment.

My second oops came when I stamped the “So Very Much” underneath the thank you.  This too was completely crooked, so I decided to just hide it using two flowers (Whisper White and Blushing Bride) and two leaves (Sahara Sand) from the Botanical Builder Framelits.

This definitely proves that even mess-ups make for a pretty card!
