This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.
Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper is so beautiful that I really wanted to showcase it for this card, knowing it fit perfectly with the color challenge.
I started off with the Tip Top Taupe as my base color which I layered with two patterns from the Succulent Garden DSP, offset from each other.
I next cut out a Mint Macaron swirl from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. I glued down some adhesive in the center of the swirl and wrapped around some Linen Thread a few times.
My sentiment is from the Suite Sentiments stamp set which I heat embossed using White Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink, and a Heat Tool. I cut it out and other layers of Tip Top Taupe and Old Olive using the Layering Squares.
Enjoy!

Awesome card Jaimie! Love your layering and the sentiment die cuts are perfect. Great design! 🙂
This is really gorgeous, Jaimie! I really like your offset DSP panels. Perfectly done! 🙂
Beautifully done, I really like the offset panels and you are right, these two DSP designs look wonderful together. Love the embossed sentiment, too!
I like the way you used the Swirly Scribbles die. I haven’t used mine yet. Anything asymmetrical pleases my eyes!
I love the Scribbles!! And how you offset the DSP is fabulous. Great job.
Those offset panels are my favorite too. Just very eye-catching! I love your embossed sentiment too. TFS.
love the simplicity of your card Jaimie and how you offset the panels, and the added interest of tucking the swirly scribbles in behind, so adorable.
Wasn’t a fan of the succulent garden but I live what you did here with the dsp.tfs
