Love is in the Air

Today’s card is inspired by the challenge over at Global Design Project this week.  For my “free choice” color I used Pink Pirouette.  I always love how nicely navy and pink compliment each other.

My card today starts out with Pink Pirouette cardstock.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the large So Detailed thinlit to cut the flower detail out and then adhered it to the card.

I took another panel of Whisper White cardstock and using the brayer sponge and Night of Navy ink, I created a gradient appearance.  I then cut out the letters to form the word “love” using the Large Letters Framelits and adhered them over the So Detailed, well, detail.

I stamped the “is in the air” from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set in Night of Navy and adhered it below the word “love.”  I used the Jar of Love Bundle and stamped the flowers in Pink Pirouette ink and leaf in Night of Navy ink and cut them out with the coordinating framelit.

Enjoy!
