Happy Mother’s Day

Today’s card starts off with Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  Using the Layering Circles Framelits I cut out a circle from just regular printing paper.  I placed the printing paper (with the circle cut from it) over a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and inked up the Hardwood stamp set in Sahara Sand ink and stamped over it.  Once I removed the printing paper, I was left with the Hardwood stamp image in a circle shape on my cardstock.

I matted this on some Pink Pirouette cardstock and then adhered them to the card.

Next using the Flourish Thinlits I cut out two leaves (Mint Macaron cardstock) and one flower (Pink Pirouette) cardstock and adhered them over the stamped Hardwood image.  I added a Pink Pirouette enamel circle to the center of my flower.

My sentiment comes from the Oh So Succulent stamp set which I stamped in Sahara Sand ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  I layered underneath it a small banner of Pink Pirouette cardstock and some Very Vanilla ribbon.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by challenges at Stamp, Ink, Paper and The Paper Players.
