Monochromatic Sunshine Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

Today’s card starts off with Crushed Curry cardstock. Using an Aqua Painter, I picked up some So Saffron ink and painted over the center of a panel of Watercolor Paper and adhered it to the Crushed Curry.

Next I added some layering first using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Delightful Dijon cardstock (the square). Then I cut a panel of Daffodil Delight cardstock and dry embossed it using the Sparkle embossing folder. For the next layer I used the Archival Black ink and stamped the sun stamp from the Day at the Beach stamp set on some watercolor paper and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I colored it in using Delightful Dijon ink and the Aqua Painter.

Lastly I stamped the “Sending” from the Sunshine Sayings Bundle in Archival Black ink and then cut out the “sunshine” from So Saffron cardstock using the cutout from the bundle.
