Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.

Of course with these colors I had to use the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.  It is hands down one of my favorite stamps from the Holiday Catalog.

For my card I start out with a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I first stamped the sunflower on a piece of copy paper.  I fussy cut it out so I could use the mask technique.  I stamped the first sunflower in the lower left hand corner (stamping off first) in Crushed Curry ink.  I stamped the smaller detail of the petals full strength.  I then covered this sunflower with the one fussy cut out paper and stamped the other two sunflowers around it.

I stamped the inside of the sunflowers in Early Espresso ink, as well as a few leaves around them in Garden Green ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set in Garden Green ink.  I matted the Whisper White cardstock on a panel of Crushed Curry cardstock and adhered it to a Garden Green card.

I folded a piece of Garden Green ribbon into a piece of Burlap ribbon and tied a bow around it in Linen Thread.  I adhered it using Tear & Tape adhesive.

Enjoy!
