Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF challenge!

My card today is a simple CAS (clean and simple) one that uses my favorite stamp set from last year’s Holiday Catalog – Christmas Pines.

What I love about this card is that it’s quick and doesn’t use the Big Shot.  So if you haven’t taken the plunge yet to buy one, no big deal!

My card starts off with a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Christmas Pines stamp set and stamped the pines in Garden Green ink and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink.

I matted the Whisper White cardstock on Silver cardstock and added a few rhinestones over the pines.  I cut a Silver Doily in half and adhered each half behind the Silver cardstock.

I matted a pattern from the Be Merry DSP on Whisper White cardstock and adhered everything to a Garden Green card.

Enjoy!
