Stampin’ Up! Happy Wishes Wedding Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

I thought long and hard about what I wanted my “free choice” color to be and after having settled on making a wedding card using the Happy Wishes Stamp Set, I knew I wanted it to be silver.

Not in your face silver, but subtle silver.

I start off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered over the card front a pattern from the Petal Passion DSP and over that a piece of Vellum .

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Wishes Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  This set is free with any order over $100 during Sale-a-bration.  I cut the sentiment out and the scalloped Silver Foil oval behind it using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

I cut out a silver vine…leaf…flower, not sure exactly what it is but I like it…from Silver Foil using the Petals & More thinlits.
