Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

Starting today Stampin’ Up! has added 14 more items to Sale-a-bration.  These are items either in the Occasions and Annual Catalogs and you can see this list here.

I’m using one in my card today – The Petal Pair embossing folder!

My card starts off with another Sale-a-bration item, the Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the leaf over it in Pool Party ink (stamping off first).  I matted this on Bermuda Bay cardstock and adhered it to the card.

I took a 2″ panel of Bermuda Bay cardstock and embossed it using the Petal Pair embossing folder.  I stamped the flower image from the Petal Palette Stamp Set in Memento Ink on some Whisper White cardstock and colored it in using Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends Markers.  I cut it out using the coordinating Petals & More Thinlits.

Before adhering the flowers down with Stampin Dimensionals, I wound some Silver Thread behind it.  I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White cardstock to finish it off.

Enjoy!
