Stampin’ Up! Perennial Birthday – Blooms

Today is a real clean and simple card.

The best thing about this card is all you need is some paper, an ink pad (or two), and some markers.  And then if you want to “dress it up” a bit, you can add some fun embellishments.

I started off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. This is key if you plan on using Whisper White as your card base!  It stands up much better than the regular cardstock.  I then used the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and stamped the various images across the bottom corner of the card in Memento Black Ink.  I colored the images in using Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pool Party, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Linen Thread bow and some clear epoxy shapes to finish it off.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!
