This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!
Here in Upstate New York, we’re having the wackiest weather. Yesterday it was cloudy and rainy in the morning, the sun came out in the afternoon and it hit 50 degrees, and it snowed at night.
So I obviously can’t control the weather, but what I can do is make bright, spring-y cards!
I start today’s card off with Marina Mist cardstock. I stamped right over the front of it with the Hardwood stamp set in Marina Mist ink.
I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped two stems/leaves on it. I stamped the petals separately in Marina Mist ink and cut them out using the Daisy Punch. I adhered the petals down using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I matted the Whisper White on Old Olive cardstock and then adhered everything to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it with the heat tool. I added a small pattern from the Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card.
Enjoy!

So pretty, Jaimie! Love the woodgrain background and the lovely daisies! 🙂
This is very pretty Jaimie. Love the background and the daisies on their SKINNY stems! In my garden the wind would have them on the ground the second they bloomed! LOL.
So pretty Jaimie! Love the layered daisies and the colors work perfectly with your design. Great woodgrain background too! 🙂
Love IT but not your weather!
