Stampin’ Up! – Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Hope

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card is 90% Calypso Coral and Old Olive, but I did manage to sneak a bit of Daffodil Delight in it 🙂

My card starts off with Calypso Coral cardstock.  I then took a panel of Watercolor Paper, matted it on Daffodil Delight cardstock, and adhered it to the card.

Next I stamped the flower from the Picnic With You Stamp Set in Versamark ink on the Watercolor Paper.  I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it.

I then used an Aqua Painter and Old Olive and Calypso Coral inks to color around the flowers.  This is called the heat resist technique.

Next I cut out the “hope” from Tutti-Frutti cardstock using the Sunshine Wishes framelits.  Underneath it I cut out a vellum banner using the Bunch of Banners Thinlits and I also wound around some Silver Thread.

Lastly, I added a few Calypso Coral and Silver Enamel Shapes around.
