This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!
My card today starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.
Next I took a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and stamped daisies on it in Night of Navy ink. I mounted it on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.
Next I took a pattern from the Delightfully Daisy DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.
I saw another demo do this and if you know who, please let me know, as I cannot for the life of me remember where I saw it. I took the smallest circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits and cut out two notches from the paper. I wound around a Mint Macaron Twine Bow (available June 1st).
I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy on Whisper White cardstock.
Lastly, I stamped the daisy image twice in Versamark ink on Night of Navy cardstock. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it with a heat tool. I cut it out using the Daisy Punch. I added a silver embellishment to the center of it.
Enjoy!

Beautiful card. I sure hate to see that paper go! I’ve seen Connie Stewart punch holes to wrap her twine. It does add a little interest. TFS
I love the tone on tone that you did with the NON. Your daisy is beautiful. Someone will be thanking you for thanking them!
Lovely! The water-marked daisies are a perfect backdrop to the pretty flower and DSP! 🙂
Wonderful Daisy card. Love your NON panel! And, I like that you kept it neutral except for the bow.
What a beautiful design! The colors are perfect and the daisy looks amazing in Night of Navy! 🙂
Love the different layers and the daisy is perfect. Nice embossing.
Great card, Jaimie. Love the Daisy doubled up both in the stamped background and the stacked blooms.
