Back in the day Gorgeous Grunge was my go-to stamp for an “artistic flare.”
So when I saw the new Artisan Textures Stamp Set in the Annual Catalog – I didn’t want it – I needed it!
My card starts off with Fresh Fig cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle embossing folder. I next matted a piece of Whisper White cardstock on Mint Macaron cardstock.
I used the Artisan Textures Stamp Set to first stamp the larger “splotch” in Mint Macaron ink. Then I stamped the “sponged” image in Grapefruit Grove ink. Lastly I stamped the “dotted” image in Versamark ink, which I sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set.
Next I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Fresh Fig ink on Whisper White cardstock and tucked a trimmed Grapefruit Grove colored doily behind it.
I wound some Gold Thread behind the sentiment and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added a Grapefruit Grove pearl from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and a sequin from the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
