This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!
This color combination made me think of fall, so I pulled out a beloved stamp set that I haven’t used in a while – Painted Harvest – and paired it with a stamp set full of really great sentiments – Another Wonderful Year.
My card starts off with Early Espresso cardstock. I then matted a pattern from the Country Lane Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the right upper corner.
Next I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock on a diagonal and stamped the stitched edge from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set in Early Espresso around it.
I used Crushed Curry, Mint Macaron, and Early Espresso ink and the Painted Harvest stamp set to create my sunflower. I used the masking technique to get the leaves to be behind the flower.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Another Wonderful Year stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Mint Macaron cardstock.
Enjoy!
Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.

The placement of your pieces is very appealing. I like that you did not center the main mat. That stitched edge stamp is the bomb!
Just beautiful Jaimie!! The sunflower is perfect for those colors and I love your design. Fantastic card! 🙂
Beautiful! I love this stamp set – and you’ve really made it shine with this color challenge! 🙂
Jaimie, your choice of design is perfect with this challenge. Love the angled top layer and the ‘stitching’.
That sunflower is still one of my favorite sets too and this is awesome! Love that stitching. TFS.
Another beauty, Jaimie! I love the masking you did for the leaves, and that little border on your tilty panel is just so cute! Beautiful detail… Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
I love the paper cuts on this card, it just makes the whole design pop! Might have to CASE this one Jaimie!
