Stampin’ Up! Joyous Noel Card

Happy Columbus Day!

Do you have any fun plans for today?

I’m heading to a farm that has lots of fun fall activities for the kids to do and pumpkin picking – one of our favorite places to go in the fall.  I’ll post pictures on my Facebook page.

And while we’re enjoying fall – snow isn’t too far behind.  Sorry folks, I know I’m the rare one – I LOVE snow!!  Bring it on – nothing like crafting during a snow storm.

So my card today starts off with Gray Granite cardstock.  I then layered a panel of Whisper White cardstock on Gold Foil.

On the right side of the Whisper White I adhered a pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper.   I covered the seam with a thin piece of Gold Foil.

I then used the Lined Alphabet to stamp the letters of “snow” in Versamark ink.  I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set it.

Lastly I tied a Merry Merlot ribbon around a Snowflake Wire Element and adhered it over the Designer Series Paper.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
