Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest Thank You

I sure hope you’re having a great week.

I have been a lean-mean crafting machine as I’m doing a craft fair this weekend – making lots of super cute and fun doo-daas.

I hope to post some pictures Saturday on my Facebook page.  Wish me luck!

My card today is all fall!!

It starts off with Crushed Curry cardstock which I embossed using the Simply Stripes Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock (to be matted on Mossy Meadow cardstock) and used the Painted Harvest stamp set to stamp sunflowers across it.  I used Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks to stamp the sunflowers.

I used the masking technique to stamp the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink around the sunflowers.

Lastly I did some layering with a Very Vanilla banner, punched Mossy Meadow leaves, and Very Vanilla Polka Dot ribbon.  For the sentiment, I stamped it in Versamark ink on Cajun Craze cardstock.  I sprinkled it with white embossing powder, heat set it, and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Enjoy!

Today’s card is inspired by this week’s The Paper Players challenge.

  1. Your card is lovely and I wish you much success at the fair. Can’t wait to see the pics. I hope one will be of how you display/package your cards for the sale, collectively and singly.

  2. This is so pretty with this sunflower, but I love the polka-dotted ribbon peeking out from under your embossed sentiment! So cute! Thanks for playing with our color challenge this week at the Paper Players, Jaimie! And I hope your Saturday went well!

  3. Beautiful, Jaimie! The sunflowers are perfect for the color challenge, but what steals the show is the snippet of ribbon and the textured card base. LOVE it! Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
