Stampin’ Up! First Frost Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a joint hop with the Happy Stampers.  We could choose from either of the challenges below, and I thought I could easily work them together.

My card starts off with Tranquil Tide cardstock.  Over that I adhered a pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the First Frost Stamp Set to stamp the large flower in Merry Merlot ink around the outside.  I matted this on Copper Foil.

Before adhering this down, I wound underneath a piece of Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon and then tied a bow to go next to the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment from the First Frost Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I wound some Copper Thread underneath it and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!
