Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Christmas Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop challenge is a sketch challenge this week.

My card today starts off with Tranquil Tide cardstock.  I then took a panel of Pool Party cardstock, embossed it using the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I cut out a circle using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Silver Foil.  Next I took a pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper and used the Detailed Deer Framelits to cut out a deer.

I used one of the flower framelits and Whisper White cardstock to adhere a flower over the deer’s collar.  I added a rhinestone over the top of that.

I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I wound behind it the Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon.

Enjoy!

  1. I bet your Dad really likes this card…I’m going to try his idea from last night even though I don’t like embossing 🙂 Your card is beautiful…as are you…inside and out.
