Stampin’ Up! Black and White Congrats Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Basic Gray cardstock which I embossed using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

Next I took a panel of Basic Black cardstock and stamped the leaf image from the Rooted in Nature stamp set across it in Versamark ink.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.

I matted this on Whisper White cardstock and wound around it Whisper White Baker’s Twine into a bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Banners For You Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut it out using the Bunch of Banners Dies.  I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I added some pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and regular pearls around the leaves.

Enjoy!
