Stampin’ Up! Let it Ride Neutral Colors Card

For today’s card I pulled out a stamp set from the Occasions Catalog that carried over, the Let It Ride Stamp Set.

I thought the images paired well with the new Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper.

My card starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Stitched Shapes Dies and cut out a Whisper White circle.  I used the Let It Ride Stamp Set and stamped the trees in Old Olive ink and horses in Soft Suede ink.  I colored the horses in using the Dark and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink on Old Olive cardstock.

Next I tied a Linen Thread bow in a leaf trinket.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday challenge.

  1. That’s really a pretty card! It looks so rustic starting with that wood-like DSP and then how you created everything from there. This card is really eye catching (and I’ve never even rode a horse!). It just looks so peaceful. (P.S. I can’t wait for my new catalog to come in the mail!). 🙂
