This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is Halloween Fun. Enjoy hopping around all the blogs to see what everyone created!
As I sat down to create today’s card, I realized I didn’t get any new stamps specifically for Halloween. So I pulled out the Harvest Hellos Bundle and created a jack-o-lantern, which although doesn’t scream Halloween, are still carved for the occasion.
My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I then adhered a Pumpkin Pie pattern from the Regals Designer Series Paper to the right.
Next I created the pumpkin first by stamping the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White cardstock. I colored it in using the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the face over it in Memento Black ink and cut it out with the Apple Builder Punch.
I stamped the curls in Soft Suede ink. On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink and colored them in with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the stem in Soft Suede ink and colored it in using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut the leaves out using Paper Snips.
I stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

This is such a sweet card. I am not a fan of scarey halloween, I do love young trick ‘r treaters in costumes and, who doesn’t love jack o lanterns and carving pumpkins. Yours is executed beautifully and your fussy cut leaves…that goes without saying!
