Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Christmas Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

I normally tend to use reds for Christmas cards, but today I’m embracing green for Christmas, specifically Shaded Spruce.

My card starts off with Shaded Spruce cardstock on which I adhered a pattern from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

Next I took a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock and stamped two boughs from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set on it in Shaded Spruce ink.  I then layered this on Gold Foil and tied a Shaded Spruce/Gold bow around the front of the card.

Next I cut out a Whisper White circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  On it I first stamped one of the boughs from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set in Delicata Gold ink.  Over that I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!
