Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature Card

This week and next week are pretty exciting weeks for me.

This week I’ll be heading to a scrapbooking retreat at a beautiful inn.  Be sure to “like” my Facebook page as I hope to post lots of pictures of my scrapbook pages.  To say I’m excited is an understatement.

Then, next weekend I’m headed to OnStage with my team.  I’ll get to see the 2019 Occasions Catalog AND order from it.  It really feels like Christmas!

My card today starts off with Merry Merlot cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped along the side of it the leaves from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set in Merry Merlot and Terracotta Tile ink  I then matted it on more Whisper White cardstock.

Next I cut out a stitched circle from Vellum cardstock using the Stitched Labels Dies.  I stamped the “wonderful” sentiment from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Merry Merlot cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it.  I then fussy cut it.  I stamped the “you are” in Merry Merlot ink on Whisper White cardstock.

Under the sentiment I added a piece of Terracotta Tile ribbon.  Next to it I added a few Terracotta Tile Faceted Dots.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
