This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!
My card today starts off with Lovely Lipstick cardstock.
I next took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the raindrops on it in Mint Macaron ink and then matted it on Basic Black cardstock.
I next stamped the umbrella and flowers in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. I colored them in using Mint Macaron (umbrella, leaves), Pink Petal (flower), Lovely Lipstick (other flower) Stampin’ Blends Markers.
I cut the umbrella and handle out using the Umbrella Builder Punch and fussy cut out the flowers, cascading them down from the umbrella.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I then cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
Enjoy!
Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project challenge.
