Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Grateful Card

We have a great new sketch challenge for you at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Sketches are a great tool for creating a card.  I find they get the creativity going and are a starting point.  I sure hope you’ll play along this week!

My card today starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I then used the Stitched Lace Dies to cut a lace detail from Whisper White cardstock.  I cut a same size piece of Whisper White cardstock to adhere behind it.

I then used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to create a frame.  I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the To A Wile Rose Bundle and stamped the flower in Flirty Flamingo ink and leaf in Soft Sea Foam (both full strength for outside and stamping off for lighter shade).  I used the Wild Rose Dies to cut them out and a leaf from Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

I covered part of the sentiment from the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set with washi tape, inked it up in Flirty Flamingo ink, removed the washi tape, and stamped it down on Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.

Enjoy!
