This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!
I’ve seen other demos use the new Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and stamp on multiple colors at once. I loved the look so decided to make a very simple square card doing the same.
My card starts off with Old Olive cardstock.
I then cut out 2″ squares from Bumblebee, Old Olive, and Early Espresso ink. I matted them on a panel of Gold Foil and stamped the sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set on it in Early Espresso ink.
I used some Linen Thread to tie a bow around the card.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink and fussy cut it out. I adhered it down with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I wanted to keep with the same idea but cut up the cardstock panels a little differently. This time I matted them on Whisper White cardstock and wound around the Linen Thread under the sentiment.
Enjoy!

What a neat design!
Just gorgeous!! This stamp is perfect for this technique!!😊
How creative! Great idea. I like the way you fussy cut the words–they stand out without distracting from the design. TFS.
That is awesome Jaimie! What a cool design, perfect way to use that beautiful sunflower image. 🙂
