I’ve been taking surveys over the weekends of people’s favorite colors in the four color families (Regals, Subtles, Brights, Neutrals) on my Facebook page.
This weekend was the Subtles survey and for me hands down my favorite color is Petal Pink. I use it a lot in my card and it’s definitely a go-to color for me to use.
Be sure to head over and vote for your favorite Subtles color. It’s so interesting to see what everyone likes. So far it’s close between Pool Party, Highland Heather, and Petal Pink.
My card today starts with Petal Pink cardstock. I then took a Petal Pink pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.
I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and I stamped the flower from the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink in two corners. I lightly (and not precisely) colored in the flowers using the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and the leaves using Soft Sea Form Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink on Petal Pink cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Pearls around the flowers to finish it off.
