Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Thank You Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a theme challenge. We’ll all be using new product from the 2021 Jan-June Catalog in our projects today.

My card starts off with Calypso Coral cardstock, which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I then matted a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Stitched Nested Dies to cut out a panel from Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the stem from the Art Gallery Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the flower image first in Calypso Coral ink and then Terracotta Tile ink over it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it. I cut it out with a smaller label from the Stitched Nested Dies.

I added a Mossy Meadow bow next to the sentiment.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
The Art Gallery Stamp Set and Mossy Meadow ribbon will be available beginning Jan 5th in the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog!.

Stampin’ Up! Baby Girl/Boy Congrats Card

I’m really having a lot of fun with the Handsomely Suited Bundle. You can do so much with it.

Today I made really simple cards celebrating a new baby girl or boy using the Handsomely Suited Bundle.

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock, on which I adhered a Petal Pink pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper.

Next, I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set in Blushing Bride ink. I then matted it on Blushing Bride cardstock.

Next I stamped the bow from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set in Blushing Bride ink on Petal Pink cardstock and cut it out using the Suit & Tie Dies. I adhered it next to the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then used the same design but used Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight colors for a boy card.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited Part 2

Yesterday I shared a card that I made as a thank you to our veterinarian.

It used the Handsomely Suited Bundle, which will be available starting Jan 5, 2021.
For today’s card I used the same layout, but made a nurse’s or doctor’s thank you card.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I then took a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock and used the Suit & Tie Dies to cut out a “v-neck.”

I used the same dies to make two pockets from Balmy Blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set in Memento Black on the one pocket.

Next I stamped the heart from the Be Mine Stamp Set in Balmy Blue ink. I cut it out, as well as a Silver Foil circle using the Layering Circles Dies. To make the black part of the stethoscope, I used the Layering Ovals Dies.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

I hope you’ve been inspired by it and can’t wait to see all the different kinds of cards you’ll make using this Handsomely Suited Bundle in the near year!

Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited Vet Card

I have seen so many creative cards already using the new Handsomely Suited Bundle (available Jan 5, 2021).

I decided to try my hand at coming up with something fun and made a thank you card for our veterinarian. I have another card tomorrow to thank a person in the medical field!

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I took a pattern from the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and used the “V” die from the Suit & Tie Dies to cut out a “v-neck.”

I used the same dies to cut out two pockets from Real Red cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.

I next made a “stethoscope.” I stamped the heart from the Meant to Be Stamp Set in Real Red ink. I cut it out, as well as a larger circle, from Silver Foil using the Layering Circles Dies. I made the black part using two dies from the Layering Ovals Dies.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Be sure to add the Handsomely Suited Bundle to your wish list. It is just so versatile and can be used for a wide variety of cards!!

Stampin’ Up! Color Blocking Prized Peony

If you’re looking for inspiration, look no further than the Stampin’ Up! catalogs.
They are chuck full of projects and cards that can easily be CASE’d (copy and selectively edit).

Today’s card was inspired by a card from the new 2021 Jan-June Catalog (p 80).

My card starts off with Highland Heather cardstock. I then took a strip of Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Merry Merlot cardstock and adhered them to a panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I took the larger floral image from the Prized Peony Stamp Set and stamped it over the color panels in Memento Black ink. I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Memento Black ink under the cardstock panels.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Coming Home Hello Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!

Today’s card primarily uses the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. I made this card weeks ago in anticipation of being out of the country today. Unfortunately, the Trimming the Town DSP is not available any longer.

If you have this paper already, I hope you like the card and maybe even CASE (copy and selectively edit) it. If not, I hope you’re inspired by the layout and overall design.

My card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper.

I next took another pattern from the Trimming the Town DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut out yet another pattern from the Trimming the Town DSP. I used the same circle die to cut out a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then used one of the dies from the Home Together Dies to trim it down so you have two trees. On this I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Poppy Parade ink.

I cut out one of the houses from the Trimming the Tree DSP using the same Home Together Dies to adhere over the circle. Under the circle I wound around some Poppy Parade ribbon and also added a few Poppy Parade dots next to the circle.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Video Tutorial

Last week I used the brand new Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set.

I used bright colors with the sentiment on Basic Black cardstock to make it pop.

The Friends Are Like Seashells is a really great stamp set that comes with matching dies. The bundle saves you 10%.

Just a reminder that I’m currently out of town and won’t be back to do my Facebook Live Tutorials until after the new year.

If you ever miss a video tutorial, you can check them out on my YouTube Channel.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT WHISPER WHITE PRODUCT

Stampin’ Up! is sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, Stampin’ Up! wasn’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

Stampin’ Up! has worked tirelessly on trying to find a comparable product and have announced the new color, Basic White.

]Our new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as we have them in stock. This means that some Whisper White and Basic White products may be available at the same time. Additionally, due to the nature of sourcing, some Basic White products may not be available before the Whisper White products sell out.

Current Whisper White product is available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order. For more information and to see a comparison between Whisper White and Basic White, check out the video below.
