Last week I shared a sweet and easy fun fold card using the beautiful Simply Succulents Bundle for my YouTube live.
Unfortunately, I have to cancel today’s live as I have a doctor’s appointment….which by the way, I was reminded today by one of my kids how badly I need to keep my calendar updated. If it wasn’t for one of them, I wouldn’t have realized the double booking.
Anyone else have a horrible memory?!
My card starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock. I then scored a diagonal to the card front. I then cut down a piece of Golden Garden Acetate to adhere to the card. I then adhered down the flap from the fold using Tear & Tape adhesive.
Next I stamped two succulents and bucket in Memento Black ink. I colored them in using Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut them out, and the aloe and hanging plant, using the coordinating Potted Succulents Dies.
I then adhered them over a Basic White circle which I cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.
For the inside, I adhered a pattern from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper to the top. I adhered a panel of Basic White cardstock to the bottom and I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink.

Such a pretty card! Love the soft colors and the fun fold is really cool. Calendar. Yup. I update the heck out of mine. Said Mary…never. I try. I really really do. Of course – you also have to LOOK at it…. sigh. I need an admin assistant to tell me what to do when! ROFL!
