Stampin’ Up! Kangaroo & Company Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Flirty Flamingo cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

I then stamped the kangaroo and flowers from the Kangaroo & Company Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored them in using Crumb Cake (kangaroo), Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight (flowers) Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out using the coordinating Kangaroo Dies.

I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped some grass at the bottom in Granny Apple Green and butterfly in Memento Black Ink, coloring it in using the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. I then adhered the kangaroo over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Underneath the Basic White panel I adhered a Flirty Flamingo pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper.

Lastly, I first stamped the same flower in Flirty Flamingo ink (stamping off first for a lighter shade) and then the sentiment in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I cut the sentiment out using the Tasteful Labels Dies, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
