Stampin' Up! Lovely You Smile Card

“Your mission, should you chose to accept it…”
Gotta love Mission Impossible.

I’ve created a series of challenges for my team this month, you know I love challenges, including sketch and/or color.

I find they really help creatively, sort of as a jumping off point. You’ll see my cards early on this week and then at the end, I’ll share what they created. First up…

My card starts off with Fresh Freesia cardstock which I embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

I next used the Tasteful Labels Dies and cut out a banner from the Ombre Specialty Paper.

I then cut a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the various images from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, and Mint Macaron ink and then matted this on another panel of Basic White cardstock.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Highland Heather ink and cut it out with the same banner die, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a Highland Heather bow next to the sentiment. I decided to make the card in both landscape and portrait orientation. You’ll have to let me know which you like more.
