I love taking Christmas elements and using them for a general winter greetings card.
I used two of my favorite colors together for this card, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. They’re like peanut butter and jelly – just made for each other.
My card starts off with Soft Succulent cardstock. I took a smaller panel of Soft Succulent cardstock and embossed it using the Timber Embossing Folder.
I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut out a circle from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and Basic White cardstock.
I used the Christmas Season Stamp Set and stamped the outline leaf in Soft Succulent ink and the detail over it in Evening Evergreen ink, and the outline pinecone is Soft Suede ink and the detail over it in Early Espresso ink I cut them out with the Seasonal Labels Dies.
I stamped the sentiment from the After the Storm Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I cut it out with the same Seasonal Labels Dies.
Lastly, I wound around some Evening Evergreen ribbon and secured it with a Linen Thread bow, and also added a few pearls around.
Thanks for checking out my project today!
Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
