Stampin’ Up! Rework Layout Harvest Hellos

A few weeks ago I made a Halloween card using the Harvest Hellos Bundle.

I took the same sketch and the stamp set and created a new card for you today.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

I then took a square of Cajun Craze cardstock and stamped the pumpkin, stem, and curl on it in Cajun Craze ink.  Underneath it I adhered a Mossy Meadow square.

I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on a narrow panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the pumpkin in Cajun Craze, leaf in Mossy Meadow, and stem in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored them in with the same color Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Come to Gather Class Card

Today’s card was one we did at my September stamp class.

The cards were all occasion, but with a fall theme.  To be honest I wasn’t sure about this card as it uses non-traditional fall colors.

I was really inspired by the Gather Together DSP and come to find out – it was the favorite card for the ladies.

If you’re in the Upstate New York area and would like to join me for a stamp class, my next one is on October 15th.

My card starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Gather Together DSP on Whisper White cardstock.

I cut out a Whisper White circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies and then stamped the wheat from the Come to Gather Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink and the sentiment in Basic Gray ink.

Next I stamped the pumpkins in Basic Gray ink and colored them in using Mint Macaron (pumpkins) and Soft Sea Foam (stems) Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut them out with the Gathered Leaves Dies and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Halloween Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is Halloween Fun.  Enjoy hopping around all the blogs to see what everyone created!

As I sat down to create today’s card, I realized I didn’t get any new stamps specifically for Halloween.  So I pulled out the Harvest Hellos Bundle and created a jack-o-lantern, which although doesn’t scream Halloween, are still carved for the occasion.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then adhered a Pumpkin Pie pattern from the Regals Designer Series Paper to the right.

Next I created the pumpkin first by stamping the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the face over it in Memento Black ink and cut it out with the Apple Builder Punch.

I stamped the curls in Soft Suede ink.  On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink and colored them in with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the stem in Soft Suede ink and colored it in using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut the leaves out using Paper Snips.

I stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Falling For Leaves – Thinking of You

As we speak I am away at a scrapbooking retreat.

As much as I love card making, scrapbooking is my first love, but I really only work on it during this weekend away.

I work on three different books – one for each of my kids.  I plan on posting pictures along the way on my Facebook page, so be sure to swing by to see what I’m working on.

My card today starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock.  I next stamped the Buffalo Check stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I wrapped a Mint Macaron bow around the card front.  This ribbon is part of the Nature’s Twine pack.

Using the Detailed Leaf Thinlits, I cut out the bottom leaf from Crumb Cake cardstock and the top (more detailed) leaf from Crushed Curry cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Falling For Leaves Stamp Set in Crushed Curry ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Layering Circles Framelits.  I used the same framelits to cut out a Mint Macaron scalloped circle.  I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest Thank You

I sure hope you’re having a great week.

I have been a lean-mean crafting machine as I’m doing a craft fair this weekend – making lots of super cute and fun doo-daas.

I hope to post some pictures Saturday on my Facebook page.  Wish me luck!

My card today is all fall!!

It starts off with Crushed Curry cardstock which I embossed using the Simply Stripes Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock (to be matted on Mossy Meadow cardstock) and used the Painted Harvest stamp set to stamp sunflowers across it.  I used Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks to stamp the sunflowers.

I used the masking technique to stamp the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink around the sunflowers.

Lastly I did some layering with a Very Vanilla banner, punched Mossy Meadow leaves, and Very Vanilla Polka Dot ribbon.  For the sentiment, I stamped it in Versamark ink on Cajun Craze cardstock.  I sprinkled it with white embossing powder, heat set it, and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Enjoy!

Today’s card is inspired by this week’s The Paper Players challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Give Thanks Blog Hop

Today marks a new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  Be sure to play along this week!

This is a beautiful fall theme challenge and I thought it worked perfectly with this month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme which is “Giving Thanks.”

My card starts off with Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I then took a panel of Mango Melody cardstock and embossed it using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

Using the Layering Circles Framelits I cut out a circle first from the Mango Melody cardstock.  I traced the cut circle on a panel of Whisper White cardstock and on the Pumpkin Pie card front.  I then lined up the circle framelit over and cut them out.

I stamped the sunflower image from the Many Blessings stamp set on a panel of Whisper White cardstock to be adhered inside the card.  I also stamped the wreath on a separate panel of Whisper White cardstock in Memento Black ink.

I used Dark Mango Melody (inside of sunflower and highlight on leaf), Light Daffodil Delight (edge of sunflower), Dark & Light Granny Apple Green (leaves), Smokey Slate (jar), Light Pumpkin Pie (highlight on leaf), and Light Crumb Cake (inside of sunflower) Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the images in.

I used the wreath from the Many Blessings Stamp Set, but made it a complete circle by using the masking technique.  I stamped the wreath first in Memento Black ink.  I then covered the two ends with a piece of scrap paper.  I very carefully only inked up a bit of the wreath again and stamped the image, connecting the two ends.

I then fussy cut the wreath out and adhered it over the cicle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Many Blessings Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock.  I used the Detailed Trio Punch to cut the ends and the hole for the tag.  I wove through some Linen Thread and tied a Braided Linen ribbon over it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Trick or Tweet Card

This week the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is joining the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  We could use the  sketch challenge or color challenge.  I thought they both worked nicely together.

My card starts off with Granny Apple Green cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper.

Next I stamped the kitty image from the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers to color in the kitty and the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker to give a slight shade to the bandages.

I stamped the pumpkin on a separate piece of Whisper White in Memento Black ink, which I colored with the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers and Light Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I fussy cut it out with the Paper Snips and adhered it over the kitty’s paw with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I matted the Whisper White cardstock panel on Granny Apple Green cardstock and placed a piece of Black Glittered Organdy ribbon underneath it.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and added a few Mango Melody enamel shapes from the Best Route Enamel Shapes next to it.

Enjoy!
