My favorite color is fall…
The oranges, yellows, and even purples.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

I decided to celebrate the beautiful fall colors with a thank you card for this month’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop theme – Giving Thanks.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

These beautiful leaves come from the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle!

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

I shared a sweet card Monday using the cute pig from the Joyful Life Stamp Set.

Today I’m sharing another card using it, but this time showing the sweetest hedgehog.

Stampin' Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme is “autumn/harvest,” and although my card doesn’t scream fall – I saw the apples in the bowl and knew I wanted to use this stamp set.

Each fall, we go apple picking and then come home and make fresh apple pie. It’s something I really look forward to – there’s nothing like freshly picked apples!

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.

Stampin' Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

I then used the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut out a large label from regular copy paper. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I layered over the label as a stencil and used a Blending Brush to add Crumb Cake ink. I then embossed it using the Timework Embossing Folder and matted it on another Basic White panel.

Stampin' Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

Next I stamped the hedgehog from the Joyful Life Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and colored it in using Real Red, Old Olive, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut him out using the same Hippo & Friends Dies.

Stampin' Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

Underneath the label, I wound over a piece of Real Red ribbon and then added a couple of Rhinestones and Dots around.

Stampin' Up! Joyful Life Thank You Card

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from Pansy Patch Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Soft Suede cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out with the same Hippo & Friends Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

Last week I used the Intricate Leaves Dies to make a cut that cut out a leaf.

Normally you would use the leaf as a focal point in a card, but for that card I used the cut out piece as a frame.
You can check out that card here.

Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

I then took the cut out leaf and made today’s card as part of last week’s Facebook live video.

Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

What I love about this card is the stamped background that was created using the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set. Making my out Designer paper is something I really love to do!!

Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

Normally, at this point in my blog post I’d be telling you to join me tonight for another live tutorial.

However, if you caught my YouTube live yesterday you’ll know that there’s something wrong with the sound on my phone. Gotta love technology.

Anyways, so unfortunately my live tonight is canceled.

Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Leaves Card

Is it bad that I’m kind of hoping I get a new phone out of this?!

After all it is a NEED for my business. 😉

In the meantime, if you ever miss a live tutorial, you can check them out on my YouTube Channel, and I hope to be back next week.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins Thank You Card

I love simple.

You can’t imaging how many blog posts I start like that.
Maybe because I feel the pressure to explain why I’ve left my card design without the bells and whistles.

Stampin' Up! Pretty Pumpkins Card

But whatever the reason may be, I truly do love simple.

Stampin' Up! Pretty Pumpkins Card

I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle once before to make a non-traditional colors thank you card, which I LOVE. But I also really love orange pumpkins with hints of green and gold.

Stampin' Up! Pretty Pumpkins Card

The Pretty Pumpkins Bundle is an absolute must-have this fall!

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Gorgeous Leaves Thank You Card

There’s nothing like new product.

The only hard part is deciding what to use first. But leaves and pumpkins are my favorite so the new Gorgeous Leaves Bundle was one of the first I pulled out.

It will be available beginning Aug 3rd when the 2021 July-Dec Mini Catalog goes live!

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Gorgeous Leaves Card

I thought it was perfect for this week’s “Outdoors” theme. The card starts off with Early Espresso cardstock, on which I adhered an Early Espresso pattern from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper.

May be an image of outdoors, tree and text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop July 15 Theme Challenge Outdoors Outdo'

Next I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a panel from Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the wood grain from the Gorgeous Leaves on it in Early Espresso ink, stamping off first.

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Gorgeous Leaves Card

Next I used the Intricate Leaves Dies and cut out three leaves from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock. At the bottom I wound around some Gold Fine Art Ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Gorgeous Leaves Card

Around the leaves I adhered a couple of Gold Dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, which will also be available beginning Aug 3rd.

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Gorgeous Leaves Card

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the same Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Bundle Beautiful Day

Am I the the only one who gets to Friday and does a little happy dance?!

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock, although you cant see it because I covered it with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and first stamped the one leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink (stamping off first for the lighter inside image). While I had this out, I stamped the oak leaf in Pumpkin Pie.

I cut the oak leaves out and solid oak leaves from Pumpkin Pie cardstock using the Autumn Punch Pack. I then matted this on Merry Merlot cardstock.

I used the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Layering Circles Dies to cut out (what I’m calling) a wreath from Merry Merlot cardstock. I adhered the oak leaves over the previously stamped Crumb Cake leaves. I added an Embroidered Ribbon Bow over where the leaves touched.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Merry Merlot ink on a very thin piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and adhered it down using Mini Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Color Challenge.
