Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Birthday Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

I then used two patterns from the Butterfly Bijoy Designer Series Paper, matting the one on Bermuda Bay cardstock.

I next used the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut out one of the butterflies from another pattern in the Butterfly Bijou DSP. I adhered this down using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I lastly stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay ink, snipping the end in a banner.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Friends are like Seashells Fun Fold Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme is fun fold cards! Have fun hopping through the blogs to see what everyone made!

My card starts off with Seaside Spray cardstock, which I cut off a piece off the side of the card front.

I then matted two patterns from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper on Basic White cardstock, one for the front and one for the inside.

I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and scored it in half. I adhered half of it to the inside of the card, with the other half covering the card front (not adhered). I matted another pattern from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper on Basic White and adhered it to this panel.

I cut out three seashells from yet another pattern from the Sand & Sea DSP (I really love this DSP and how well all the patterns coordinate together) and adhered those to the front.

I then stamped one sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on a banner of Basic White cardstock for the front and another sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink to the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge. Happy hopping!

I decided to make a really simple, but sweet birthday card using the colors.

My card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock. I then took one of the patterns from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper and trimmed it down on an angle. I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out a Misty Moonlight scalloped edge to go just above the DSP.

I adhered this over a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink. I then matted this on another panel of Basic White cardstock. In the corner I added two Misty Moonlight enamel dots.

I created the popsicles using the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp. I stamped the one using Old Olive (popsicle stick), Highland Heather, and Rococo Rose ink and then other using Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, and Seaside Spray ink. I fussy cut them out and adhered them next to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “birthday.” Have fun seeing how everyone interpreted the theme.

My card today was inspired by a card that I saw Kim Fee make.

It starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock. I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and using the Blending Brushes created an ombre of color in Bermuda Bay and Pretty Peacock color. In the corner I stamped the seaweed a few times in Coastal Cabana ink.

I then matted this on Pretty Peacock cardstock and offset a panel of Soft Suede cardstock underneath it.

If you are new to using the Blending Brushes, you can check out this video here I did in which I gave some tips and tricks on how to use them.

Next I folded over the Fine Art Ribbon a few times, securing it with Tear & Tape adhesive. I then stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink, cutting it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

I stamped the seashells in Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana, and Pretty Peacock. I colored them in using Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend.

Lastly, I added a few Champagne Rhinestones around.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!

Stampin’ Up! Posted for You Birthday Card

I had a new color and sketch challenge for my team this week.

I have to say this one even had be stumped and it took a bit before I could get them to work together, but this is what I came up with.

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock, which embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the floral image from the Posted for You Stamp Set. I colored them in using the Real Red and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

**Did you receive my weekly Tips & Updates Email this week? It had a tip in it to get the splatter effect. Be sure to check it out!

If you haven’t signed up for this weekly email, head over here. You won’t want to miss out anything. You’ll also receive free tutorials for five quick and easy cards!

I then cut the panel in three even pieces and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I folded over a piece of Real Red ribbon to adhere to the left side of the panels.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Posted for You Stamp Set in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it down using Mini Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Perennial Birthday Card

As we speak, here in Upstate New York, we are bracing ourselves to get slammed with snow.

Last I saw it was 12-18″ expected….and I say – bring it on!!!
I LOVE the snow and the more the better.

It’ll be a perfect day to get stamping!

Now, if you don’t like the snow, today I have a springy, floral card for you. It starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock, which I covered with a Soft Sea Foam pattern of Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and matted it on Mossy Meadow cardstock. In the center, I stamped the “happy” from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set in Rococo Rose ink. I stamped the “birthday” in Mossy Meadow ink, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Around them, I adhered rhinestones, pearls, and Rococo Rose pearls.

Next, I stamped the flowers from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set in Rococo Rose (stamping off for the lighted shade) and the small leaves in Mossy Meadow ink. I cut them out, as well as Rococo Rose cardstock details to adhere over them and greener details from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Perennial Petals Dies.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Woot woot!!!!

The 2021 Jan-June and Sale-A-Bration catalogs are now live!!!

The Sweet Ice Cream Bundle is included in this new catalog and was top of my wish list – it’s just so sweet (see what I did there 😉

My card starts off with Magenta Madness cardstock. I cut it at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4. I then trimmed off 1/2″. I adhered a panel of Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, and stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set on the side in Granny Apple Green ink.

I then took a Magenta Madness pattern from the 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I took another Whisper White panel and stamped the cone from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink and the cone detail in Crumb Cake ink over it. I matted this on Granny Apple Green cardstock.

I then stamped the ice cream in Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, and Granny Apple Green ink and the drip in the same color over it. I cut them out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings Card – Free Product!

Free – everyone loves free!

With Sale-A-Bration starting tomorrow, the hardest decision you’ll have is to decide which free items to pick from the 2021 Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Today’s card uses a free product that’s a bundle – Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper – free with an order of $100 starting tomorrow!

My card today starts off with Pacific Point cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the Berry Delightful DSP. I then took another pattern and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Now, before I go further, I have to say that I completely oopsed in my stamping.

I used the leaf, what is intended to be for the raspberry image, for the blueberries, instead of the other leaf image which is intended for the blueberry image. Oops.

I stamped the outline of the leaf in Granny Apple Green ink, the inside image as well, stamping off first.

I stamped the outside image of the blueberries in Pacific Point ink, and the inside image in the same, stamping off first. I stamped the sentiment just below it in Pacific Point ink.

I cut this out using the Stitched Shapes Dies, mounting it on Pacific Point cardstock. I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
