Stampin’ Up! Simple So Much Happy Birthday Card

Today I have a relatively simple birthday card that can work for just about anyone!

Or if you wanted to make it more feminine or masculine, you could just switch up the colors.

My card starts off with Bermuda Bay cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the balloons and strings from the So Much Happy Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight ink.

I then matted this on Calypso Coral cardstock.

I stamped the “happy” from the So Much Happy Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.   I stamped the birthday in Calypso Coral ink and fussy cut it out.

Lastly I used the coordinating Happy Dies to add a few stars to the balloons.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Birthday Card

I just LOVE the Stitched Triangles Dies.

(Well, I just about love every die.)
But the triangles are such a fun shape to work with – and they’re perfect to fill an empty space.

For my color choice I was inspired by our new color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I sure hope you’ll play along these next two weeks!

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Magenta Madness cardstock.  In the corner I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Magenta Madness ink.

I then used the Stitched Triangles Dies to cut out triangles from Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Bumblebee cardstock.  I used the same dies to cut out a banner from Bumblebee cardstock to layer over one of the triangles.

Lastly, I added a Magenta Madness enamel dot.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday challenge.

Around the balloons I added some Artistry Blooms Sequins.

Stampin’ Up! By the Dock Birthday Card

I love to CASE (copy and selectively edit) other demonstrators’ cards or projects.  The Stampin’ Up! family is so creative.

But it’s also fun to CASE your own cards.

Today’s card was inspired by this card here I did back in February.

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock which I covered with a Night of Navy pattern from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Watercolor Paper and did a watercolor background using Coastal Cabana ink and a Water Painter.  I then matted this on Real Red cardstock.

I stamped the dock, boat, and seagulls from the By the Dock Stamp Set in Stazon ink.  I colored the dock in using Night of Navy ink and the boat using Real Red ink.  I adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the By the Dock Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies which I adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for seeing my project today.

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps challenge.

I then adhered a panel of Pool Party cardstock offset behind the Whisper White.

Stampin’ Up! Ridiculously Quick and Easy Birthday Card

My son turned 12 last week.

Making a card for his birthday wasn’t easy.

He’s not young enough to want cutesy cards and he’s a boy so he doesn’t want frills but he still deserves a great card.  I also always decorate the house and use the same colors for his card so I worked with Granny Apple Green and Pacific Point.

I went with a ridiculously clean and simple card.

My card starts off with Pacific Point cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the circle from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set in Pacific Point ink and the square in Granny Apple Green ink.  I then matted this on Granny Apple Green cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

And there you have it.  Probably the quickest card I’ve ever designed, but he loved it and that’s all that matters.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella It’s Your Day Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Birthday.”  Have fun seeing what everyone created this week.

I love the new 2020-2022 In Colors.

If you’re not familiar, every June Stampin’ Up! introduces five new colors that will be around for two years.

This year’s colors are Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, and Cinnamon Cider.  I decided to use them together for my card today.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then adhered a small pattern of Misty Moonlight from the 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper and then a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock to the left of the card.

I stamped the umbrella from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, and Bumblebee cardstock.  I cut them out and the handles from Basic Black cardstock using the Umbrella Builder Punch.

I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! NEW Celebrate Sunflowers Celebrate You Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

This past weekend I went to Facebook to get help for today’s card.  I knew I wanted to use the NEW In Good Taste Designer Series Paper but I wasn’t sure whether to go with the light or dark shade wood.

Well, here’s the final product:

My card starts off with So Saffron cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and matted it on Mango Melody cardstock.

This Designer Series Paper is included in my Product Share, so be sure to check out all the details here.

I then stamped the sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set in Mango Melody ink on So Saffron cardstock.  I cut it out and a Mango Melody sunflower outline using the Sunflowers Dies.

I stamped the leaves in Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock and then cut them out, as well as leaf outlines from Old Olive cardstock to adhere over them.  I adhered the leaves under the flower and then adhered everything down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers in Old Olive ink.  I cut out the “let’s” and then fussy cut the “celebrate you.”  I wound around some Linen Thread under the sentiment and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!
