SNEAK PEEK Merry Café

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today uses a bit of brand new product from the Holiday Catalog, as well as product that is currently in the Annual Catalog.

Specifically, from the Holiday Catalog I used the Merry Café Stamp Set which coordinates beautifully with the Coffee Café Bundle.

My card uses Soft Sky cardstock as its base and layered it with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut a banner of Gold cardstock which I layered over that.

First I took a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock and matted it on Very Vanilla cardstock.  On the bottom I adhered behind it two banners of patterns from the Bundle of Love Designer Series Paper.

I used the Coffee Café Bundle to create my coffee cup using the Bundle of Love Designer Series Paper.  The lid and sentiment comes from the NEW Merry Café stamp set which I stamped in Soft Sky ink.  I picked this sentiment, thinking this card would be sweet for someone expecting a new baby.  I layered underneath the coffee cup some Soft Sky Ribbon and Mini Gold Sequins.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Time Birthday

Today’s card is inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps challenge.

My card starts off with Fresh Fig cardstock.  About midway down the card, I wound around a piece of Gold Thread.

I took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and used the Celebration Time stamp set to create the banner.  I stamped it in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.  I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Fresh Fig ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  When I cut it out using the Celebration Thinlits, I put a piece of Gold cardstock behind it.  I snipped off the top and bottom of the cake and adhered them over the Very Vanilla cut out image.

I made a bow using the Celebration Thinlits and Gold cardstock and added a few Gold Enamel Dots.

Enjoy!

Coffee Café Watercolor Background

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

Today’s card starts off with Soft Sky cardstock.  I then took a panel of Watercolor Paper and used the Coffee Cafe stamp set to stamp the coffee image with lid (Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz), coffee beans (Soft Suede), and hearts (Soft Sky) randomly over it.  I then used a Stampin’ Spritzer and sprayed water over it (not too close) multiple times until I got the look I wanted (not too much or it will just run).  I then matted it on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered it to the card.

Then I created my coffee mug using the Coffee Café Bundle.  I stamped the mug image in Memento Black ink on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the Thanks A Latte image in Soft Sky ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut them out (and the other images) using the Coffee Cups framelits.  I wrapped some Linen Thread around it before adhering it over a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock matted on Soft Suede cardstock.

Using the super sharp Paper Snips, I cut out four images from the Coffee Break DSP and adhered them around the coffee mug.

Enjoy!

Oh So Eclectic Stampin’ Up!

For my card today, I’m prepping for my August Make & Take party.  For my party, we’ll be making four cards using the Oh So Eclectic Bundle.  If you’re in the Upper New York area, I’d love to have you join me!!  Check out the details on my Facebook page here.

My card starts with Night of Navy cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the Naturally Eclectic DSP, matted it on Soft Sky cardstock, and adhered it to the card.

Next I took some Berry Burst Crinkled Ribbon and sort of folded it on itself and adhered it down.  I cut out one flower in Soft Sky cardstock and one in Peekaboo Peach cardstock using the Eclectic Layers Framelits and adhered it over the ribbon.

Lastly, I stamped the petal stamp from the Oh So Eclectic Stamp on Peekaboo Peach cardstock in Peekaboo Peach ink and then stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy over it and cut it out.

PRODUCT LIST:

Pocketful of Sunshine – Sunday Stamps

My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock. I took a panel of Vellum paper and embossed it using the Sparkle embossing folder.  I adhered a strip of Dapper Denim cardstock behind the Vellum and one strip of Real Red cardstock in front of it.

Using the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle, I stamped in Memento Ink the pocket on Dapper Denim cardstock.  I used Night of Navy ink to highlight the edges around the pocket.  I stamped the “HBD” and adhered it behind the pocket.  I adhered the pocket using Tear & Tape adhesive which I find is needed because of the bulk the pocket creates.

I then stamped the sunglasses from the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle in Memento ink and adhered them to the front of the pocket.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps’ challenge and Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Coffee Café – Life Happens

Today’s share is a quick and simple card using the Coffee Café Bundle.  We will be using this bundle at my Make & Take Party this Thursday.  If you live in the Upstate New York area, I’d love for you to join us!!  You can check out my facebook page for more details about my upcoming events.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then used the Stitched Framelits, Coffee Break DSP, and Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz cardstock to cut out 4 stitched squares.  I then used the Layering Squares Framelits to cut out scalloped squares to put behind the stitched squares.

I created my coffee cup using Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede ink and the Coffee Café Bundle.

Behind my coffee cup I adhered a piece of burlap and then tied around the coffee cup a linen thread bow.  I adhered the cup using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride – Thinking of You

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card starts off with Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  I then layered a panel of Powder Pink cardstock to the card and wrapped a piece of Fresh Fig Sheer Ribbon around the card.

I matted a pattern from the Wood Textures DSP on a panel of Fresh Fig cardstock and adhered it to the card.  I created my bike using the Bike Ride Bundle and Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, Powder Pink, and Smoky Slate ink.  I cut out two Powder Pink handlebar ribbons and one Fresh Fig butterfly using the coordinating thinlits.

Before adhering the bike to the card, I stamped the “ground” stamp in Smoky Slate from the Sheltering Tree stamp set on the Wood Textures DSP.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Fresh Fig ink on a banner of Powder Pink cardstock.

Enjoy!
