Stampin’ Up! Team Card – Celebration Tidings

This past Sunday our Stampin’ Up! team had a virtual get together.

Four of us shared cards we made using the Celebration Tidings Bundle, and I had the pleasure of sharing today’s Christmas card.

It’s just a great team to be part of, and it’s ever growing.  Right now there’s a great deal with the Grab & Go Starter Kit and we would love for you to join the team!  Don’t wait -reach out to me for more details.  I’d love for you to join us at our next get together.

My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock, which I embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

Next I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (matted on Whisper White) and a smaller one from Shaded Spruce cardstock (adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals).

Next I stamped the “floral” image from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using the Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut it out using the Celebration Labels Dies.

*Note:  When positioning it, the floral image should be at the bottom of die.

I folded it over and then stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set on the inside in Cherry Cobbler ink.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
Don’t forget to take a peek at the Grab& Go Starter Kit right now.  It’s a great time to join the Stampin’ Up! family and not miss out on any of the fun – or deals!!!

Stampin’ Up! Simple Joyful Holly with Gold Touches Christmas Card

I love traditional colors for Christmas cards.

My favorite is red and gold – just like I decorate my house for Christmas.

My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then stamped one of the holly images from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Versamark ink in two corners of a panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I then matted this on Gold Foil and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Under the sentiment, I folded over some Gold ribbon and wound some Gold thread in it.

Stampin’ Up! Trio of Peace & Joy Card Video Tutorial

I love bubble matting around words…
And usually have to fussy cut to get the effect.

However, the Peace & Joy Bundle is so fun that it creates the bubbling around the words peace, joy, and bright for you.
And you can layer them up in so many different ways.

Last week for my Facebook live, I did a trio of cards – you might say, something for everyone!

A simple card for a beginner stamper (or someone short on time), a card for an intermediate stamper who likes a simpler card and has a few techniques under their belt, and a card for an avid stamper – someone who wants all the bells and whistles.

They all use the same basic layout and design, but at the same time, three different cards.

Be sure to join me tonight at 7:30 EST on my Facebook page for another live tutorial!  I’m going to be using the Stitched Triangles Dies and making simple, artistic cards.

If you’ve ever missed a tutorial, you can check them out on my YouTube Channel.

Check out the video below to see how I created today’s trio of cards:

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Christmas Card

Without realizing it, four out of my five cards this week were Christmas cards.

Be sure to go back and check them out and be inspired to start Christmas card making early!

My card today starts off with Mossy Meadow cardstock which I embossed using the Old World Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the manger from the Peaceful Nativity Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink.  I colored it in using the Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.  Inside it, I stamped the sentiment form the For Unto Us Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

I roughed up the edges of it using the side of my Paper Snips and adhered a panel of Gold Foil underneath it, adhering them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I used the coordinating Nativity Dies to cut out a gold star to go above the manger.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Purple Posy cardstock.

I then took a pattern from the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and embossed it using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in Highland Heather ink and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out a piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and offset it underneath the sentiment.

Over on my Facebook and Instagram pages, I gave a tip for adhering over Glimmer Paper, which can be challenging to get anything to stick to.  Be sure to check it out.

Under the sentiment I adhered a bow using the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon and next to the sentiment I added a tiny snowflake.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
