Stampin’ Up! Words of Cheer Gift Giving Idea

All this week I’ve been sharing lots of fun projects using the Words of Cheer Bundle.

Be sure to go back and check out all the loads of inspiration and ideas!!

Today I’m sharing a gift giving idea with you using non-traditional Christmas colors.

Stampin’ Up! Words of Cheer Gift Giving Holder

My project starts off with an Ombre Gift Bag in Polished Pink. I first stamped the floral image from the Words of Cheer Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and colored it in with Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, and Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut it out with the Christmas Cheer Dies, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the same dies and cut out a Basic White “happy” and Soft Sea Foam “happy”. I glued them together and adhered it to the bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I stamped the trio of dots around the images in Polished Pink ink, added some Rhinestones and Polished Pink gems around, and added a Silver bow.

I stamped the “Christmas” in Polished Pink ink and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Lastly, after folding over the top, using a hole punch, I cut out two holes from the bag. I wound some Polished Pink through and tied a bow.

My card base is Real Red cardstock which is 4 x 4, which I embossed using the Wintry Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Quick and Easy Words of Cheer Christmas Card

A couple of weeks now I’ve highlighted a specific Designer Series Paper and lots of project ideas featuring it.

Well, this week I’ve decided to feature a bundle – the Words of Cheer Bundle – from the July-December Mini Catalog.

All this week I’ll show five different ways to use this bundle from super simple (today) to a gift holder, and even a slimline card.

Today’s card is super quick and easy and will be perfect for duplicating and making multiples of.

My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I covered with a pattern from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Quick and Easy Words of Cheer Card

Stampin’ Up! Quick and Easy Words of Cheer Card

I stamped the sentiment from the Words of Cheer Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

My go-to is a standard card, but every now and then I see something that catches my eye.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Present Card

I saw a card that Erica Cerwin made in the shape of a present, and I knew I wanted to try my hand at it.

I used her design as a jumping off point, but used my own measurements.
