Stampin’ Up! Playful Pets Welcome Card

It’s Friday and I have the cutest little puppy on my card today.

The Playful Pets Designer Series Paper has the cutest dogs and cats – just waiting to be fussy cut out!

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.

I then took two patterns from the Playful Pets DSP and matted one on Whisper White cardstock and the other on Basic Black cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I fussy cut out one of the dogs from the Playful Pets DSP and adhered him down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then matted this on Basic Black cardstock and wrapped around some twine into a bow and in the knot tied a Playful Pet Trinket.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Arrange a Wreath Just Because Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock which I embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.

I then took a pattern from the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Wreath Builder Dies to cut out a wreath from Night of Navy cardstock, sprigs from Coastal Cabana cardstock, and flowers from Whisper White cardstock.  Inside the flowers I added a small rhinestone.

To add a little touch I added a Purple Posy bow from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink.

Stampin’ Up! Nothing’s Better Than Coffee Card

This year, believe it or not, we have decided to homeschool our kids…
Any homeschoolers out there?

I swore I’d never do it…and here I am in full on prep mode.

I have a dear friend who’s in the same boat so I decided to make her this card.  We’re both going to need lots of coffee…and Jesus!

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Painted Labels Dies to cut out a label from Gray Granite and Whisper White cardstock.  On the Whisper White one, I stamped the sentiments from the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set in Gray Granite ink and adhered it over the other using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the coordinating Love You More Than Dies to cut out three “coffee” sentiments from Petal Pink cardstock and adhered them one over the other.

I stamped the coffee mugs in Gray Granite ink and the inside image in Petal Pink ink (stamping off first for a softer look) and cut them out with the same coordinating dies.  Lastly, I added a few Champagne Rhinestones.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches Friendship Card

The Birds & Branches Bundle is so sweet and fun to play with.

Using this bundle I’ve made a card using the stamped images.  I’ve also made a card using the die images.  And today I’m using a combination of both.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then took a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock and embossed it using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I matted this on Whisper White cardstock and offset some Soft Suede cardstock underneath it.

I first stamped the two birds from the Birds & Branches Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  Over that I stamped the other bird image over it in Daffodil Delight.  I also stamped feet for each of the birds in Memento Black ink.  I cut these images out and a Soft Suede branch using the Birds & More Dies.

I wrapped some Linen Thread around this in a bow.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Free As a Bird Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink.  I cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered this and the birds down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Simple Square Birds & Branches Card

Sure hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Mine was well spent and I even got some stamping time in to create this week’s projects for you.

First up is a square card using the Birds & Branches Bundle…

My card today starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock which I cut to 4-1/4 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and embossed it using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and then matted it on another panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I then cut out a branch from Just Jade cardstock and two birds from Petal Pink cardstock using the Birds & More Dies.  I adhered the birds down using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Underneath the Whisper White panel, I adhered a small piece of Just Jade ribbon.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in Just Jade ink, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Lastly, I added a few Pearls around.

Thanks for checking out today’s project!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Celebration Tidings Always Grateful Card

Fall is my favorite time of the year to stamp.

And although we’re not there yet, I am having so much fun getting a head start on my fall/winter cards and projects now thanks to the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog.

It will be available beginning Aug 4th to customers.  Want to order everything now?  Order the Starter Kit and preorder from it.

My card starts off with Rich Razzleberry.  I then took a pattern from the NEW Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and used one of the NEW Celebration Labels Dies to cut out a section out of the middle.  I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

The great thing about these dies is that it stitches the inside, as well as the outside, so although it’s really subtle, there’s a stitch on the Plaid Tidings DSP.

I then stamped the top image with the pumpkin and the bottom image with just the leaves in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I left about a 1″ space for the sentiment to go between them.  I colored it in using Pumpkin Pie (pumpkin), Old Olive (leaves), and sprigs (Rich Razzleberry) Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Rich Razzleberry cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heated it with the Heat Tool.  I snipped the ends in a banner and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! *NEW Press On Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

I decided to use the brand new Press On Stamp Set for today’s card.  It’s in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog and will be available beginning Aug 4th.

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock which I embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.

I next took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the coffee beans from the Press On Stamp Set across it in Pool Party cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment in the corner in Just Jade ink and matted this on Crumb Cake cardstock.

I stamped the coffee cup in Memento Black ink and colored it in using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the coffee cup again on a pattern of Just Jade DSP and fussy cut it out to adhere over the cup.

I stamped the heart in Pacific Point ink and fussy cut it out to adhere over the cup.  I then adhered the cup down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I added a few Just Jade Enamel Dots to the card.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Coming Home Welcome Card

First things first…

Today starts the beginning of an ordering promotion when you shop through my store…

Get a free $9  $15 item(s) with any order of $50+.  You’ll also earn a $5 coupon from Stampin’ Up! to spend on an order placed in August! That’s what I call a win-win!

Now, on to today’s card which uses a new bundle from the NEW Aug-Dec Mini Catalog, the Come Home Bundle.

My card starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

I embossed a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock for the front using the NEW Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder (available Aug 4).

It’s a mini embossing folder so only measures 3-3/8x 6-1/4″.  If you want to emboss a bigger panel than that just run it through twice.  It’ll nearly look perfect, but if you want to cover the seam, just wrap some ribbon around.

I wrapped the Pear Pizzazz with some Old Olive ribbon.

I then stamped the house, trees, and car (my favorite) from the Come Home Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, and So Saffron cardstock.  I cut them out using the coordinating Home Together Dies.

**The Come Home stamp set/bundle is really special because $3 of each sale will go to charities devoted to adoption, foster care, and infertility and will be available beginning Aug 4th.

I then used the Well Written Dies to cut out three “welcomes” from Basic Black cardstock which I adhered over one another.

I matted this panel on Basic Black cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!

Today’s card was loosely inspired by the FabFriday Challenge (loosely, because after I made it I realized I never did a scalloped detail, oops).

Stampin’ Up! Prized Peony Thinking of You Card

I am really enjoying the Stitched Triangles Dies.

I shared this card last week and wanted to pull them out again for today’s card.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then cut out two triangles from the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, which I adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the two peonies and leaves from the Prized Peony Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink.  I colored them in using the Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody (flowers) and Shaded Spruce (leaves) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Under the peonies I adhered two gold leaves and adhered the flowers down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Around them I added some Pearls and Bumblebee Enamel Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the brand new In The Pines Stamp Set in Bumblebee Ink and cut it out using Stitched Rectangles Dies.

The In The Pines Stamp Set is brand new to the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog and available beginning Aug 4th!!

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
