Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Card

It’s Friday.
We made it ya’ll!!!

Accomplishment. It’s one of my words, like I live and breathe it. I love the feeling of accomplishment and when we get to Friday, I always take a deep sighhhh…accomplishment!

So here’s to an awesome weekend ahead after a week full of accomplishment!

Stampin Up beautiful friendship card

My card today is one I shared last week over on YouTube. Did you know I do a weekly YouTube live tutorial every Tuesday at 1:00 EST? Well, now you know to put it on your calendar, set an alarm, and head over to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of the fun!!!

My card is a simple one with lots of fun layering. It starts off with Pool Party cardstock. I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the Birch image over it in Sahara Sand ink and then matted it on a panel of Bumblebee cardstock.

Stampin Up beautiful friendship card

I took another panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the images from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, and Bumblebee ink. I then matted this on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and I wrapped around some Bumblebee ribbon in a knot.

…do these colors look familiar?? I used them earlier this week in this card. No sense in reinventing the wheel if you like the way something looks – use the same colors, use the same design!

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Pool Party cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Hippo & Friends Dies.

Lastly, I added a few Opal Rounds next to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Citrus Card Kit

Ready or not, here we go Monday!

This week we start renovation to add a second bathroom to our home. Our family of five, including three girls, desperately needs this addition.

So today, I’m starting off the week with a lemon card because it makes me so happy and let’s face it having men in my house for two weeks making all sorts of noise in the midst of what should be our spring break will be…fun! (ha!)

My card starts off with Daffodil Delight cardstock, which I covered with a Daffodil Delight pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the lemon and leaves from the Simply Citrus Card Kit in Memento Black ink. I colored it in using Daffodil Delight (lemon) and Granny Apple Green (leaves) Stampin’ Blends. Around the lemon, I stamped the stars in Pool Party ink.

I cut the end off so there was a divide in the cardstock, adhering them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin Up Simply Citrus Card Kit

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin Up Simply Citrus Card Kit

I stamped and colored another lemon this time fussy cutting it out and adhering it next to the sentiment. For the inside, I added a small pattern from the True Love Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Hello Card

The Many Messages has such a great variety of sentiments for just about every occasion.

But don’t overlook the amazing Messages Dies!

And it gets even better, there’s a sister stamp to the Many Messages Stamp in the new Annual Catalog that uses the same dies!

My card starts off with Basic Black cardstock and then I wrapped some black and white twine around the left corner into a bow.

I then matted a panel of Pool Party cardstock on a panel of Basic White cardstock.

I took a pattern from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and cut out a bunch of labels using the Messages Dies. I adhered the labels down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then inked up the “hello” sentiment in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. and cut it out using the same dies.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Spotlight Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!!

My card today starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.

Stampin' Up! Forever Blossoms Spotlight Card

I then stamped the bigger floral image from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Smoky Slate on a panel of Basic White cardstock.

I then used an oval from the Layering Ovals Dies to cut out the center. I used the same dies to cut out a Smoky Slate scalloped oval to adhere under it.

I used the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers to color in the flowers on just the part that was cut out (and just the Light Marker to add a highlight around the flowers that aren’t colored in) and the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends to color the petals. I adhered the oval down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend. Here’s to a great week ahead!!

My card starts off with Seaside Spray cardstock.

I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and used the Stamparatus to stamp the sailboat from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Night of Navy across it. I didn’t re-ink them stamp, so it gives a nice ombre look.

I then embossed it using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Night of Navy cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Stampin’ Up! Ridiculously Awesome Sunshine Card

Looking quickly, you might not believe today’s card was made by me.

One word….yellow.
If you’ve followed my blog or social media for a bit you’ll know how I feel about yellow.

I really detest the color. Yet, when making a sunshine card, only yellow will do, and I really like how it came out.

My card starts off with Daffodil Delight cardstock, which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

I then used the Stitched Triangles Dies and cut out a bunch of triangles from Daffodil Delight cardstock. I then adhered them over a panel of Basic White cardstock, which I then matted on Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the “sunshine” from the Ridiculously Awesome Stamp Set in Memento Black ink, which I then fussy cut out and adhered down using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I stamped the “sending” from the Well Said Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and adhered it next to the sunshine.
