Stampin’ Up! So Happy For You Card

Dies that coordinate with stamped images are helpful, practical, and fun.

But standalone dies make them even more versatile and the cute houses in the Home Together Die caught my eye from the start!

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I then took a Blackberry Bliss pattern from the Regals Designer Series Paper and cut it at an angle. I used the long stitched die in the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to give a stitch to the edge.

I wound a piece of Bumblebee Ribbon around a Gold Hoop and secured it with a Gold bow and glued it down.

I then used the Home Together Dies to cut out a house from Rich Razzleberry cardstock and greenery from Bumblebee and Night of Navy cardstock. I adhered the images down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the A Little Lace Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Clean and Simple All Things Fabulous Card

Simple cards….
You know I love them.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then cut a small strip from one of the patterns in the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

**The In Good Taste DSP right now is 15% off!! Learn how you can receive a free pack of solid cardstock with your purchase at the end of this post.**

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the floral images from the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set in Bumblebee and Mint Macaron ink. I matted this on Bumblebee cardstock.

I stamped the larger flower on a separate piece of Whisper White in Bumblebee ink (stamping off for the lighter shade). I cut it out using the coordinating Fabulous Floral Dies, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I adhered it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few rhinestones around.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Press On Birthday Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a theme challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Cinnamon Cider cardstock. I then matted a pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper on Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the coffee cup from the Press On Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. I colored in the bottom using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers I then fussy cut it out.

I stamped the same coffee cup on a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock, which I then embossed using one of the folders from the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders. I fussy cut the band out and adhered it over the coffee cup.

Underneath it I added a few sprigs, which I cut out from Cajun Craze cardstock using the Sunflower Dies, and some Cinnamon Cider ribbon. I also used the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut out a Basic Black circle and around I added a few Cinnamon Cider Enamel Dots.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Press On Stamp Set in Cajun Craze ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out using the Stitched Nested Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Tasteful Touches Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

All this week I’m focusing on Designer Series Paper.  All my cards use DSP and I’m sharing my favorite ways to use it.

Many of the images on the Designer Series Paper are patterns of actual images of something.  You then can look amongst your stamps to find stamped images that coordinate with the pattern.

For example, the pattern from the Poinsettia Pattern DSP that I used today has pinecones, so I paired it with the pinecones from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set!

My card starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper on Soft Suede cardstock and offset a panel of Garden Green cardstock underneath.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla ink and cut it out with the coordinating Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the pinecones from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.  I cut it out using the Beautiful Boughs Dies and added a ribbon above it.

Stampin’ Up! Week of Designer Series Paper Card – Day 3 – Video Tutorial

All this week I’ve been sharing cards that use Designer Series Paper.
And I’m also sharing the top ways I like to use it.

If you missed Day 1, you can see it here and Day 2 here.

This is all leading up to a Designer Series Paper sale beginning October 1st – 15% off select Designer Series Paper.

AND on any order $50+ when you order at least one pack of Designer Series Paper, I’m throwing in a free pack of solid cardstock (in addition to the free $9 item).

Day 3: I love using Designer Series Paper for what they’re designed for.

What do I mean?  Whether it’s a snowflake pattern, tree pattern, heart pattern, or a pattern with people – I use it for just that.  If there’s an actual image being shown, I use it on my card for what it actually is.

Today, I wanted a background to my skiing buddy, so I went for a snowflake pattern.

Today’s card is the one I shared last week for my Facebook live.  It uses the super cute Freezin’ Fun Bundle in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog and I paired it with the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper.

I’ll be back tonight with another live demonstration at 7:30 pm EST on my Facebook page.  Catch it live and you’ll have a chance to win the card!

If you ever miss a tutorial, you can check them out on my YouTube channel.

Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Card

There’s a great Designer Series Paper sale starting October 1st…
15% off select Designer Series Paper from the Annual and Mini Catalogs.

In light of this, all my cards this week will use Designer Series Paper and share one of my favorite ways to use it.

If you missed day one, click here.

I like to use Designer Series Paper to add a small detail to my cards.  Sometimes you just want a little extra “oomph” and it’s perfect for just that.  It doesn’t have to be the focal point of a project, but still can add a nice little detail to it.

My card today starts off with Gray Granite cardstock.  I cut a small pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to adhere to the card front.  I took two smaller panels of Gray Granite cardstock and stamped the wheat from the Gather Together Stamp Set in Gray Granite ink on the bottom.

I matted these on Whisper White cardstock and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the same Gather Together Stamp Set and stamped the big pumpkin in Pumpkin Pie ink, one small cluster of pumpkins in Gray Granite ink, and the second one in Crumb Cake ink.  I colored them in using Stampin’ Blends Markers in the same colors.

I cut them out with the coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out leaves from Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pin, and Crumb Cake cardstock to go behind the pumpkins.

When I was all done, I realized I hadn’t left room for the sentiment, so I decided to stamp the sentiment on the inside in Gray Granite ink.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!

Today’s card is part of the new challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Be sure to play along with this new inspiration challenge!

Stampin’ Up! Week of Designer Series Paper – Day 1

Let’s talk Designer Series Paper for a second.

October 1st Stampin’ Up! is doing a Designer Series Paper sale – 15% off select DSP from the Annual and Mini Catalog!!

And you can’t have Designer Series Paper without solid cardstock, so if your order is $50+ and you buy at least one pack of Designer Series Paper, in the month of October, I’m giving away a free pack of cardstock (on top of your free $9 item)!

In light of this sale, I will be using Designer Series Paper on ALL my cards this week and sharing the different ways I like to use it.

If you’re unsure what colors to use – look at the colors Stampin’ Up! puts together in their Designer Series Paper.  They know what they’re doing and many times will use combinations of colors that I won’t have thought of.

For the foliage in today’s card, I took the colors right from a pattern from the Plaid Tidings DSP.

My card starts off with Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the images from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry (leaf), Cajun Craze (acorn), and Pumpkin Pie (leaf) on Whisper White cardstock and cut them out using the Autumn Pack Punches.  I stamped off first for the lighter solid image.

Lastly I added a few Artistry Blooms Sequins around.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!!
Be sure to take a look at the upcoming Designer Series Paper sale and get your wish list ready!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Magic in this Night Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Rich Razzleberry cardstock, which I embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  To give it a little more depth, I used a sponge and brushed it across the embossed paper to give it darkened areas.

I then used the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper and cut four squares.  I matted them each on Pretty Peacock cardstock and then on a longer piece of Whisper White cardstock.

On the Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Using the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out a scalloped edge from Basic Black cardstock.
