November Mailed Stamp Kit

I am super excited to roll out something new (to me)…

You see each month I host at least one party in my house.  Together we make beautiful cards and it’s the highlight of my month.

However, the majority of you don’t live local to me and aren’t able to participate.  So I’m offering my Mailed Stamp Kits.

Mailed Stamp Kits

What is a Mailed Stamp Kit?

Each month I will pick a stamp set or bundle and using it will design four original cards.  You will then have the opportunity to purchase a stamp kit which includes the stamp set, all material to make four cards (except ink and adhesive), and any other item included in that particular bundle.  You then will put together each card using detailed instructions I will e-mail you.

What if you already have the stamp set or bundle?

You may order any other stamp for equal price.

What if you don’t have the coordinating ink?

You may add any necessary ink to your order at the time you order your stamp kit.

What if you want doubles of each card?

Just let me know at the time you order your stamp kit and I’m happy to adjust how many cards you receive.  Each additional card is $2.

How do you pay for the stamp kit?

Fill out the form below as to which bundle you would like and I’ll send you an invoice via PayPal.  The invoice will be sent the week of October 22nd.

When do you receive the bundle?

You have until October 26th to order your stamp bundle.  As soon as I receive the product and divide it up, your stamp bundle will be mailed out Priority mail.

So on to November’s Mailed Stamp Kit

The EXTENDED KIT includes:

  • Merry Café stamp set
  • Coffee Cups Framelits Dies
  • Package of Rhinestones
  • Package of Stampin’ Dimensionals – Free!
  • All material to make four cards (except ink and adhesive)

The cost is $62.

If you do not already own the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, you will need to purchase this bundle.

The BASIC KIT includes:

  • Merry Café stamp set
  • Package of Rhinestones
  • All material to make four cards (except ink and adhesive)

The cost is $32.

*In celebration of my first month, I am offering free shipping on both the Extended Kit and Basic Kit*

Both kids use Early Espresso, Soft Sky, Emerald Envy, and Memento Black ink.

If you already own the Merry Café stamp set and the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, you may purchase the PDF instructions on how to make the four cards for $15.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Happiness

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

Not going to lie, this color combination had me a bit stumped.  Garden Green and Real Red, no problem, got it, but the Lemon Lime Twist!?

So I took some liberty here.  I’m thinking if yellow Christmas lights shone against green pines, maybe they would look a bit “limey”?!?!  Maybe?!

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock which eventually will be matted on Garden Green cardstock.  I took the Christmas Happiness stamp set and stamped the pine needles along the top of the Whisper White panel in Garden Green ink.  I then took a sponge and colored the edges with Garden Green ink, as well as sponged the top around the pine needles.

Next I stamped the outside of the lights in Memento Black around the pine needles and stamped the bottom of the lights in Real Red ink and the lights in Lemon Lime Twist ink.

So you might be looking at my Baker’s Twine and thinking – there’s no (at least current) Garden Green Baker’s Twine and I’d say you’re correct.  I made my own 🙂

I took a sandwich sized zipper baggie and put a cut piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine in it.  I then squirted a few drops of Garden Green reinker in it.  I then sort of rubbed the outside of the bag so the twine was getting covered in the ink.  I added more ink until I had it covered enough.  In hindsight, I think I would’ve used the thinner Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine, but at this point I wasn’t even sure this was going to work.

I took the twine out and let it dry on a paper towel.  I then cut and placed very, very small pieces of Tear & Tape adhesive in the spots where I wanted the twine to loop and connect to the lights.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Real Red cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.  I cut the end in a banner and added a little Gold Doily underneath.

Enjoy!

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Pick a Pumpkin & Count My Blessings

Today’s card was inspired by challenges this week at Sunday Stamps and Fab Friday.

Today’s card starts off with Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Tranquil Tide cardstock and adhered it to the card.

I cut out two (almost) squares.  I cut out two Whisper White panels and stamped the sentiment from the Count My Blessings stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on the smaller one.  I matted that one on Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the other on Tranquil Tide cardstock.

I cut out the pumpkin and leaves using the Patterned Pumpkins Framelits and Rich Razzleberry, Tranquil Tide, and Cajun Crazy cardstock.  I adhered the leaves behind the sentiment with a piece of Burlap ribbon and then the pumpkin towards the bottom.  I added a few gold sequins and enamel shapes to finish it off.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Smitten Mittens

Today you’ll get a little insight into the process I use to make a card.

If you look at the cards I make, most are simple and clean cards.  They may have a few layers, but they’re usually on the “less is more” side.

However, I love cards with tons of layers, elements, and textures.

So when I’m done creating a card, I usually ask myself – What’s one or two more elements I can add to step it up a bit.  And that’s how I get my cards.

Well, today’s card is no different.  I created the first one and thought – I’m going to add one more element, but I was so stumped as to which one I liked more when all done.  I asked my hubby which one he liked more and he said – Why don’t you make it both ways?

He’s brilliant, really, so today I bring you one simple card and one a little stepped up card.  Let me know in the comments which one you like more.

My card starts off with Emerald Envy cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and embossed it using the Winter Wonder embossing folder.

I then wrapped around the Whisper White some Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine. I stamped the mittens in Crumb Cake ink using the Smitten Mittens stamp set, cutting them out using the coordinating Many Mittens framelits.   I cut a small piece of Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine, adhering each end to a mitten.  I then tied a bow through the wrapped twine and twine connecting the mittens.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Emerald Envy ink.

Now for my stepped up version…

I did everything the same except this time I added two mittens that I cut out using the Many Mittens framelits and Emerald Envy and Whisper White cardstock.  Let me know which one you like more!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Chums

Today’s card is a simple, but cute Halloween card.  I recently won this fun Seasonal Chums Bundle from the *best* upline ever Amy.  We have a great, great team and if you’d like more information on what joining looks like, click here.

My card today starts with Old Olive cardstock.  I then took one panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut a circle out of it using the Layering Circles Framelits.

Now to get the circles cut out of the Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive cardstock so it aligned perfectly, I had to be a bit creative.  I put the Very Vanilla first over the Pumpkin Pie cardstock after having aligned them up – not adhering them yet.  I took a pencil and marked in four spots where the circle would be and then took the Pumpkin Pie cardstock, lined up the framelit, and cut out the circle.  I did the same thing to the Old Olive cardstock.  I adhered a piece of Vellum paper between the Very Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then adhered everything together.

I cut out a strip from one of the patterns in the Spooky Nights DSP for my first layer.  Next I stamped the pumpkin in Archival Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock.  I colored it in using a Blender Pen and Pumpkin Pie (pumpkin), Daffodil Delight (jack-o-lantern part), Old Olive (leaves), and Crumb Cake (stem) inks.  I cut it out and a few leaves from Old Olive cardstock using the Seasonal Tags framelits.  I stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock in Old Olive ink and decorated the leaves around it.

Enjoy!

My whole purpose, really, in cutting out the circles from the framelits was to be able to have a cute detail on the inside of my card.  I added a strip of the same pattern from the Spooky Nights DSP and the back stamped and colored in version of the pumpkin.

Enjoy!

My card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

Stampin’ Up! Labels to Love

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Very Vanilla cardstock.  I took a panel of Real Red cardstock and embossed it using the Holly embossing folder and adhered it to the card.

I then cut out a 2″ pattern from the Christmas Around the World DSP and used the Triple Banner Punch to cut each end.  I adhered over the banner a gold Foil Snowflake.

Next I created my tag using the Labels to Love stamp set and Everyday Label Punch.  I colored the stamp in with write markers (Real Red, Garden Green, and Basic Black).

Stampin’ Up! Merry Cafe

Today’s card is inspired by challenges this week at Global Design Project and What Will You Stamp.

My card today starts off with Real Red cardstock.  I took a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.  I used the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and cut out a Whisper White circle and then cut off the edge of it a bit.

I cut out a pattern from the Quilted Christmas DSP and adhered it on the card.  I then used the leaf stamp from the Merry Café stamp set and Crumb Cake ink and stamped rolling leaves across the Crumb Cake cardstock.  I first stamped the leaves all across the Crumb Cake cardstock and then adhered the stitched circle, lined up the leaf, and stamped across the Whisper White circle.

I then created my cup of apple cider using the Merry Café stamp set and the coordinating Coffee Cups framelits.  I stamped the cup in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink on it.  I then cut out the cup holder from Real Red cardstock and the lid from Whisper White cardstock.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Hearts Come Home

Are you sick of me saying I’m so excited for today’s card?!

Because I am so excited for today’s card!!

Last Friday I had my Holiday Catalog party.  We played some games, won some door prizes, and we also made two cards.  I decided to make the cards a little more labor intensive than I normally would.

My rule of thumb for my parties is I never design a card that I wouldn’t myself proudly send.  But even these 2 cards had more details than usual.  We had plenty of time so we took it step by step and everyone’s cards came out great!

So for this first card (second one will be posted tomorrow) I used the Hearts Come Home Bundle.  I start out with Night of Navy cardstock.  After rubbing the spot to be stamped on with an Embossing Buddy, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the edgelit with church from the Hometown Greetings Edgelits to cut out the scene.  I took the edgelit with the houses and lined it up as best I could and cut out the extra house.  I then took the Softly Falling embossing folder and embossed only the bottom of the scene.

Next I took some scrap pieces of So Saffron cardstock and cut them to fit behind the buildings.  I then ran through the same edgelit as was used before (with the church) with Always Artichoke cardstock and then cut off the trees and glued them on the white trees.

Don’t forget to check out my Facebook page tomorrow to see exactly how I made this card.  If you miss it, the video will stay posted!

Enjoy!

I went ahead and made a Facebook Live video showing how to make this card.  It’s only my second one I’ve ever made and there are a few glitches and it’s very “real”.

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.
