Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Card

The Joyful Life Stamp Set has just the cutest images!!

I’ve used it a couple of times already (here, here, here, here).

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Card

I decided to use it again for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme: Leaves.

My card starts off with Cajun Craze cardstock. I then took a smaller panel and embossed it using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

I really like to do this color on color with one panel embossed. It’s a simple detail but adds nice texture to the card. I did the same thing a couple of days ago with the Timber Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Card

I then used one die from the Seasonal Labels Dies and another from the Tasteful Labels Dies and cut out pieces from the Cork paper.

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Card

I stamped the images from the Joyful Life in Memento Black Ink and colored it in using Crumb Cake (bear), Old Olive (shirt, leaves), Smoky Slate (basic), Petal Pink (rabbit), Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie (leaves) Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut it all out and adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Life Card

I stamped the sentiment from the In Symmetry Stamp Set in Cajun Craze ink, fussy cut out, and adhered it over the banner.

Lastly, I added a couple of Gilded Gems next to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Words of Cheer Christmas Card

If it was up to me today’s card would be all white and gold.

I love monochromatic Christmas cards.

Stampin’ Up! Words of Cheer Christmas Card

But I forced myself to add pops of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Cherry Cobbler.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Just Because Card

I love taking Christmas elements and using them for a general winter greetings card.

I used two of my favorite colors together for this card, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. They’re like peanut butter and jelly – just made for each other.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Card

My card starts off with Soft Succulent cardstock. I took a smaller panel of Soft Succulent cardstock and embossed it using the Timber Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Card

I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut out a circle from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and Basic White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Card

I used the Christmas Season Stamp Set and stamped the outline leaf in Soft Succulent ink and the detail over it in Evening Evergreen ink, and the outline pinecone is Soft Suede ink and the detail over it in Early Espresso ink I cut them out with the Seasonal Labels Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Card

I stamped the sentiment from the After the Storm Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I cut it out with the same Seasonal Labels Dies.

September 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit

This month’s September 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit came in beautiful, unique box (which can be turned into a wheelbarrow).

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

It included all the instructions and product needed to make pumpkin and apple treat holders.

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

I don’t really have an opportunity or occasion to hand out treat holders, so I decided to use all this product to make simple, quick and easy cards.

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

You’ll see all the cards are really simple and all follow the same pattern and layout.

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

I tried to cut up the packaging cardstock in unique ways to get different looks.

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Here’s one using the “apple” paper…

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

I thought the leaf detail looked like a snowflake when stamped side-by-side…

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Using a couple of the paper patterns…

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

And simply folding over the “swirly bit”…

Stampin’ Up! September 2021 Paper Pumpkin

I hope you’ve been inspired to use this product to make some general cards as well.

Next month’s October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit is all about Christmas cards.

You have until October 10th to get this kit.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

The Delivering Cheer Stamp is one of my absolute all time favorites!

It’s just different and clever how you can mix and match up the images.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I decided to use it for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop September 30- Sketch Challenge Any Shape'

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper!

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I then used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut out a Basic White label. On that I stamped the images from the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I colored it in using Ivory, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin' Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card (1).png

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink and cut it out with the same Scalloped Contours Dies. I added a Real Red bow next to it.
