Stampin’ Up! Coffee Cafe

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF Challenge.

I knew from the first time I saw the new Annual Catalog, I wanted the Coffee Café Bundle.  Not only is it super cute and adorable (and I love the colors), but I can see it being used for thank you cards for teachers, cute thank you favors, masculine cards, etc.

My card today starts off with Soft Sky cardstock.  I took a pattern from the Coffee Break DSP and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered it to the card.  I then took a panel of Soft Sky cardstock and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered that to the card.  (What can I say, I love layers.)

I created my coffee cup using the new Coffee Café Bundle.  I cut the cup itself out using Crumb Cake cardstock and the lid using Whisper White cardstock.  The cup holder I cut using Soft Suede cardstock.  The framelit that cuts it out also embossing it – so cool!  I stamped the sentiment using Soft Suede ink.

Under the cup I cut a piece of Crumb Cake ribbon and tied a bow at the one end using Linen Thread.  I then stamped some coffee beans (Soft Suede ink) and cut them out and placed them around the coffee cup.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Oh So Eclectic

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.

My card today starts off with Tranquil Tide cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on a piece of Gold Foil Sheet.

I then used the Oh So Eclectic Bundle to create my focal point.  I first took the beautiful detailed thinlit in the Eclectic Layers Framelit Dies to cut out the lattice piece in Gold Foil Sheet.  Because the thinlit only cuts out the diamonds, I fussy cut the entire piece out and adhered it to the card.

Using the Oh So Eclectic Bundle, I then stamped the flower (Dapper Denim) and leaves (Tranquil Tide), first stamping off first to get a lighter shade, and then adhered them to the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim ink on Whisper White cardstock.  Then I wound around some Tranquil Tide Finely Woven Ribbon and then wrapped the center using Linen Thread.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Delivery

My card today was inspired by the Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge this week.

My card today starts off with Pacific Point cardstock as its base.  I then took the cake image from the Birthday Delivery stamp set and stamped it all over the front of the card in Pacific Point ink.

I cut out the wolf image from the Birthday Memories DSP using the coordinating Birthday Friend framelits.

Pause:  Did you know the Birthday Delivery Bundle comes not only with the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set and Birthday Friends Framelits but also with the Birthday Memories DSP.  So fun!

I then cut out the banner using the framelits and I stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point ink over the banner.  I adhered the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the left upper corner of the card (to prep for heat embossing).  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and then sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder.  I then heated it up with the Heat Tool.

Enjoy!

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Pocketful of Sunshine

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop’s theme is anything from the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  Enjoy hopping around and seeing all the beautiful new products!

My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock as its base.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Daffodil Delight cardstock.

I started off by making my pocket using the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle.  I first took Pool Party cardstock and the new Whisper White Uninked Craft Pad & Reinker and a sponge to gently dab the top of the cardstock.  This gave it a very light, weathered look, like jeans would be.  I stamped all the details on the cardstock in Memento Black ink – the glasses on Lemon Lime cardstock and the sunshine on Daffodil Delight cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink on Lemon Lime cardstock and adhered it over the pocket a bit.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Time

My card today was inspired by the challenge over at Freshly Make Sketches this week.

My card is a clean and simple birthday card using the NEW and beautiful Celebration Time Bundle.

I love this bundle because it has really nice sentiments (and fonts) and the framelits are really fun!

My card starts off with Thick Very Vanilla cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the Bundle of Love NEW Designer Series Paper and matted it on some Gold foil sheet.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Time stamp set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.  I cut it out using the coordinating Celebration Thinlits from the bundle.

I cut out a circle using the Layering Circle Framelits to adhere behind the sentiment/cake and adhered it to the card.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride

My card today was inspired by the challenge over at Fusion Card Challenge.

It uses the NEW Bike Ride Bundle.

This Bundle caught my eye right away in the new catalog.  I was a little intimidated by it.  Multiple stamping with almost each image, lots of images, and putting a bike together using different pieces.

It’s not half as bad as I thought.  Take your time.  Go one piece at a time.  And it’s well worth using.  The outcome is super cute!!

My card today starts off with Smoky Slate cardstock.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and using a brayer and some Pool Party ink I colored the top of it a bit.  I didn’t want too much color, so I didn’t roll over it too many times.

To build my bike, I used the Bike Ride Bundle (stamp & matching framelits) and Pool Party, Smoky Slate, and Peekaboo Peach ink.  The basket is  stamped using Soft Suede ink (full strength for the outline and stamped off for the fill).

I took a pattern from the Coffee Break DSP to put at the bottom of the card and then stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate ink using the Special Celebrations stamp set.

The Special Celebrations stamp set I think is going to be one I use a lot.  It has a saying for almost every occasion, as well as a coordinating message for the inside of the card.  I love the font of this sentiment in particular.

Enjoy!

Cool Treats Blue Goo Card

Today’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping.

Today’s card is one that I made for my son’s 9th birthday this past Tuesday.  When we get soft ice cream in the summer, he always gets blue goo ice cream so I thought I’d create it on his card.

My card starts off with Pacific Point cardstock.  I then took a panel of Sahara Sand and a smaller panel of Whisper White cardstock and lined them up to each other.  To make sure they stayed in place, I adhered a small piece of cardstock overlapping them.  I then dry embossed them using the new Oh My Stars embossing folder.  I removed the cardstock that was holding them together and adhered the embossed cardstock to the card.

I created my ice cream using the Cool Treats stamp set and matching Frozen Treats framelits.  I stamped just the swirl on some Whisper White cardstock for the ice cream in Pacific Point ink and used Sahara Sand cardstock for the cone.  I then cut out a Pacific Point circle using the Layering Circles Framelits to adhere my ice cream to.

Before adhering the circle to the card, I adhered a small rectangle of Pacific Point cardstock on the Sahara Sand embossed cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment in Pacific Point ink and adhered it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!
